Awesome location close to tons of hiking trails in Glarnerland! You do need to use cell service to check-in by calling a secondary host, which is a little bit complicated for tourists like us who don’t speak German. But the co-host (not listed on Airbnb, but a kind lady who actually helped us check-in) was very accommodating and welcoming, even with us arriving later than planned due to some travel issues. Had everything listed, clean, and a fair price for Switzerland.

We had a truly wonderful and cozy stay at the apartment! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home with your warm hospitality. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really touched us was the thoughtful gesture of sending us gifts-it was incredibly sweet and made our experience even more special. I absolutely loved the stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a home away from home! Thank you so much for the amazing experience!

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Erika and Martin's beautiful home, and I can't recommend them enough! Everything was as promised, and even better. The house is beautifully decorated and offers a perfect view in a very peacefull town in the middle of the swiss alpes. Everything in the home is new and of high quality that made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Erika and Martin were exceptionally helpful with everything we needed. It’s hard to put into words just how special Florence and Heiner are. At first glance, you’ll be taken in by the breathtaking beauty of their home—the views, the garden, the immaculate cleanliness, and the delicious breakfast all speak for themselves. But what truly makes this place unforgettable is the heart and warmth of the couple who welcome you in. This was our second visit, and I already find myself hoping for a third. Florence and Heiner are among the kindest, most thoughtful people we’ve ever met. Florence even went out of her way to help us get to and from the bus stop, fitting it gently into her own schedule—a generous gesture that meant the world to us. While that kind of help can’t always be expected, her warmth and willingness to support us made our trip flow so smoothly. She also has a treasure trove of brochures and local guides for exploring every corner of Switzerland—ask for advice. And please, give Mordrid and Marilyn pats. They’re so sweet and we’ll miss them.

Nina is a wonderful host. She is proactive, flexible, kind, and responsive. She had everything we needed in the apartment. The apartment is a beautiful large efficiency apartment with a full kitchen in a peaceful neighborhood in a small town that is on a lake. Bed is comfortable and shower is amazing. There is no air conditioner and no washing machine in the unit. There are lots of great hikes for nature lovers and the lovers of peace and tranquility. It would be easier if you had a car to get around but there is ample public transportation; there are buses and boats which will take you to the train station or other nearby towns. We love to walk and you can walk the entire town of Weesen which is about 1.5 or 2 miles. There is only one grocery store in town which is about 20 minutes walk or about 1 mile away. But you can always take the bus. The bus stop is about a block away. Thank you dear Nina for your kind hospitality. We felt at home. We will definitely return.

A truly fantastic stay at a luxury in-home spa. While the nightly rate is on the higher side, it’s understandable given the location and the exceptional private spa experience. The sauna, bath, and steam shower were the best I’ve ever experienced—well worth it. Great location too!

A beautiful house designed by the host himself. It has a great view of the lake from the breakfast area. Daniel and Susanne were very warm and accommodating - thank you for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also enjoyed the meals prepared by Susanne. We would recommend staying at their house in Weggis and the ferry ride from Lucerne is an experience by itself!
