House vacation rentals in Gironde

Lovely home and perfect for the four of us. Very close to town and very quiet. Easy access to wonderful restaurants. The check in was great and cannot thank them for also taking my niece to Station as we had to leave before her. Parking is not for feint hearted but good. If you cannot face the reverse then easy to park on road heading out towards station. Would stay again. Thanks

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!

We were hosted very well by our hosts with good recommendations for activities to do in the area. The garden, pool and pool house are shared with another accommodation, but in fact we made sure not to cross paths so it's not really a problem. Private spaces are perfect for a good stay in tranquility for two. Breakfast is excellent. We recommend this listing, with a little + if you're coming as two couples. Thanks!

We had a great weekend at Christine's home. Everything was perfectly in line with the photos and description. The bedding is of very good quality, each person had two towels as well as a pool towel. Everything was planned to ensure a pleasant stay, even in hot weather (fans, shutters, etc.). Christine was very responsive and available whenever we had a question, which greatly facilitated our stay. Just a heads up, to avoid any surprises for future guests: unless we're mistaken, we didn't see in the listing that the house was adjoining the host's house. It didn't spoil our stay, but it's good to know. In summary: a place that I highly recommend, both for the quality of the services and for the warm welcome from Christine!

Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a wonderful weekend at Jean-Charles and Elodie's! The Airbnb is like a beautiful moment suspended in a small paradise... inside a beautiful building renovated by Jean-Charles with a sense of respect for the history of the place and a way between tradition and modernity, in the middle of nature. We had a great time!

It is a nice apartment, we enjoy the staying, it is half an hour to go to the city center by car.

Fantastic hosts, Laurent and Carole could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Amazing welcome package, well appointed kitchen, lovely pool and an abundance of towels. They were very helpful with recommendations and came to say farewell. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

We experienced a real cocoon of love in this charming accommodation, perfect for a getaway for two. Every detail was designed for comfort and relaxation, and the warm atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We take beautiful memories with us. An address that we will treasure.

We stayed for 1 week in this beautiful Gite with everything available from crockery to towels. There is a pool on site which is secluded and only for use by the people staying in the Gites. The location is very good for getting to surrounding villages by car or bike. There is a hiking/biking circuit. Bordeaux is 45 min drive away. Bergerac is about a hour away. We had a lovely relaxing time there, so quiet, the sound of birds in the morning is so lovely to hear. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Christelle met at the house and kindly showed us around. She is an absolutely lovely lady and extremely kind. The house is perfect and is even nicer in reality. From start to finish our stay was superb in every way. Totally private with fab views. The house is large with a great kitchen and fabulous bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. The bed was big and super comfortable. Christelle has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. It’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. Michael is a very welcoming host, his advice is wise. The cottage is cozy, warm and well-equipped with a nice garden. Impeccable cleanliness and very good bedding. Possibilities of walks to the lake on foot or by bike from the chalet. Perfect for discovering the region.

We had a great time at Sylvain's place. The house is very nice with a pool and activities available (petanque court, table tennis, plancha). Ideal if you want to enjoy a peaceful house while being close to Bordeaux. Sylvain was responsive to our requests and did everything he could to facilitate our arrival.

If you are looking for a quiet place in a great environment with all the amenities extremely close and in addition in a great accommodation, look no further you have found

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is roomy, nicely decorated and quite new. There is a very large laundry with washing machine and drying racks (no dryer), a large kitchen and meals area, two large bedrooms and a large outdoor area. The air conditioning is efficient and there is another air conditioning unit in the loft bedroom. The bedrooms have shutters to keep out the light and the beds and pillows are comfy. The TV is a smart TV and there are wineries everywhere in the area. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and steep and this may pose a problem if you need a toilet in the middle of the night. Also, as the apartment is a little remote and has numerous windows at ground level, one may feel exposed. The windows are double glazed and the lock is strong but we closed the driveway gate to feel more secure. It was quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay.

Our stay at Laurent's house was very pleasant. Everything was at our disposal - large peaceful garden, heated pool, equipped kitchen, large living room and comfortable bedrooms. Very good communication with Laurent who was available if we needed anything. The house is located in a very quiet location, and gave us a lot of comfort for our family and baby.

The house is as described in the photos: nice, functional, very clean, and has a nice outdoor space ideal for relaxing. The hosting was excellent from day one. Jonathan, our main contact via the Jo Bassin service, was very helpful and remarkably kind. He shared many good addresses, whether for restaurants or places to visit in the area. A big thank you to him for his professionalism and attention. We also thank Émilie who greeted us on site when we arrived and who took the time to explain everything in detail about the functioning of the house.
