What a great place - peaceful, spacious and private with everything you could ever need to make the time you spend at your home fun and relaxing. It did feel like a home from home. Olivier was helpful and responsive even months before the holiday and always replied within an hour. We had to drive all the way from Calais so explained that we’d be checking in late, he was very understanding even when this time got later and later, eventually arriving after 11pm Olivier still greeted us with a smile and a full tour of all of the facilities and living area, and remained helpful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L’Atelier to anybody, and would come back in a heartbeat. Merci Olivier!

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison reposante, apaisante. La maison est très spacieuse, ce qui est très confortable et chacun peut avoir des espaces de repos indépendants et isolés aussi bien a l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Cette bâtisse vaut vraiment d'être connue. Nina et Axel sont très organisés et efficaces pour donner toutes les consignes et de façon ultra rapide. Nous recommandons cette maison en pierres alliant charme et caractère.

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la Petite Bastide. Le logement est magnifique, et offre un cadre ressourçant et propice à la détente. Nous étions douze filles et nous n'avons manqué de rien en terme d'espace et de confort. Nelly a eu la gentillesse de nous permettre d'arriver plus tôt et de quitter le lieu plus tard. C'est une hôte disponible agréable et arrangeante. Je recommande chaudement !

Notre séjour dans la maison de Laurent était très agréable. Tout était a notre disposition - grand jardin paisible, piscine chauffée, cuisine équipée, grand salon et chambres confortables. Très bonne communication avec Laurent qui était disponible si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit. La maison est située dans un endroit très calme, et nous a offert beaucoup de confort pour notre famille et notre bébé.

Wir waren zu viert und hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in Marie-Sarahs & Josselins wunderschönem Haus am Meer. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und gut aufgeteilt. Uns fehlte es an nichts und wir waren jedes Mal überwältigt, wenn wir aus den Fenstern oder der Verandatüre geschaut haben. Der Blick aufs Meer wird uns noch lange begleiten. Marie-Sarah & Josselin waren ausgesprochen gute Gastgeber. Angefragte Geheimtipps für die Umgebung kamen als höchst professionelles und wunderschön designtes PDF. Wir können das Haus, die Gegend und die Gastgeber nur wärmstens empfehlen ❤️

Superbe séjour dans une maison incroyable avec hôtes Kids friendly. L’accès au lac à pied est un vrai plus. La maison est très bien équipée et il ne manque rien, c’est rare de nos jours dans les locations Airbnb !! Enfin Alex et Claire ont été adorables avec nous tout le séjour avec pleins de conseils et suggestions. C’est un endroit que nous recommandons sans hésitation et dans lequel nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We had the loveliest week here. It’s a beautiful property, in a idyllic spot on the river, with a lovely pool and garden. The inside of the property was beautiful and felt brand new! We found we could walk to the train station and into the small town easily to explore the area. You will also have the friendliest hosts! Thank you for a memorable stay

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

The accomodation was absolutely incredible we rented the whole place for a celebration and everyone had the best stay with amazing views of the vineyards. Private car park and abundance of bathrooms (in each room) and was super clean and organised. The host is amazing and very friendly and responds very quickly with great recommendations! Highly recommend!!

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is roomy, nicely decorated and quite new. There is a very large laundry with washing machine and drying racks (no dryer), a large kitchen and meals area, two large bedrooms and a large outdoor area. The air conditioning is efficient and there is another air conditioning unit in the loft bedroom. The bedrooms have shutters to keep out the light and the beds and pillows are comfy. The TV is a smart TV and there are wineries everywhere in the area. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and steep and this may pose a problem if you need a toilet in the middle of the night. Also, as the apartment is a little remote and has numerous windows at ground level, one may feel exposed. The windows are double glazed and the lock is strong but we closed the driveway gate to feel more secure. It was quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay.

Fantastic hosts, Laurent and Carole could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Amazing welcome package, well appointed kitchen, lovely pool and an abundance of towels. They were very helpful with recommendations and came to say farewell. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Christelle met at the house and kindly showed us around. She is an absolutely lovely lady and extremely kind. The house is perfect and is even nicer in reality. From start to finish our stay was superb in every way. Totally private with fab views. The house is large with a great kitchen and fabulous bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. The bed was big and super comfortable. Christelle has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. It’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much Christelle, you have been a superb host 🥰

We stayed for 1 week in this beautiful Gite with everything available from crockery to towels. There is a pool on site which is secluded and only for use by the people staying in the Gites. The location is very good for getting to surrounding villages by car or bike. There is a hiking/biking circuit. Bordeaux is 45 min drive away. Bergerac is about a hour away. We had a lovely relaxing time there, so quiet, the sound of birds in the morning is so lovely to hear. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Super fijn verblijf. Mooi huis, veel ruimte, fijn zwembad en gezellige lange eettafels om aan te eten. Ook binnen is er voldoende ruimte.

It is a nice apartment, we enjoy the staying, it is half an hour to go to the city center by car.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!

I can’t say enough about Marie and Gilles, the owners who live next door, who were kind and incredibly helpful during our one-month stay. They are the best! The house is beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are lovely, with trees, flowers and lawn, and beyond the property are rolling hills of vines. The kitchen is well-equipped, the wi-fi is great, and everything was perfectly clean. This is a jewel, and I highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We used the bikes to ride to the village where there were amenities, including a grocery store. Branne is close by with more restaurants, and amenities. Easy to reach wine tasting options. Hanging out by the pool is also good with amazing views and a bbq.

La maison est tout à fait conforme aux photos : agréable, fonctionnelle, très propre, et dotée d’un joli espace extérieur idéal pour se détendre. L’accueil a été excellent dès le premier jour. Jonathan, notre contact principal via le service Jo Bassin, a été d’une grande disponibilité et d’une gentillesse remarquable. Il nous a partagé de nombreuses bonnes adresses, que ce soit pour des restaurants ou des lieux à visiter dans la région. Un grand merci à lui pour son professionnalisme et son attention. Nous remercions également Émilie qui nous a accueillis sur place à notre arrivée et qui a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer en détail concernant le fonctionnement de la maison. We have stayed at a lot of different accommodation over the years and this place is definitely a stand out one! It is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and hosts Alicja and Michel are just the loveliest people you could wish to meet. They go above and beyond to make your stay special. Let Alicja cook you dinner, her food is out of this world and Michel is the best waiter, handyman and such good fun to chat to. The only thing we would change is not having to leave 😀 Thank you both so so much , we cannot wait to come back and don’t forget to let us know if you ever want to house swap 😜😜😜

Wow! Just wow!!! A totally amazing place, so peaceful, surrounded by vineyards and quiet French lanes. We holidayed as two families, with teenagers (11-15 ages) loads to do at Maison Bellair, games for the garden, and inside. The pool was just perfect for chilling off after local cycle rides. The house is beautiful throughout, loads of extra details which made our stay easy and stress free. The beds were super comfy and the bedrooms stayed cool, even without AC. The outdoor kitchen and dining area was just perfect for our families to cook and eat together. Cécile was an amazing host, very quick to respond but left us to enjoy our holiday. The near by town has a great selection of Supermarkets, and shops. We went by train to explore Bordeaux from Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, which was easy. We also parked in the train station of Bergerac for free to wonder about the old town there. We loved Castle Duras, with its night market and castle luminations it was truly magical Thank you Cécile
