Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. We had a great time in this relaxing, soothing home. The house is very spacious, which is very comfortable and everyone can have independent and isolated rest areas both indoors and outdoors. This building is really worth knowing about. Nina and Axel are very organized and efficient in giving all the instructions and in an ultra-fast way. We recommend this stone house combining charm and character.

Quiet stay in the countryside with the sound of the river as background music. Ideal for large group stays. The house is spacious, very well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. There is nothing missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe discovery of the environment for all ages.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

Elaine is a charming, flexible and accommodating host! The setting is superb, a beautiful quiet house with beautiful rooms and renovated shower rooms. We'd love to come back to this place if we get the chance!

We had a fantastic family vacation and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful home, views and great amenities. The children especially enjoyed the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the house was spacious and perfectly clean and comfortable. Five beautiful days. We went to the house as a family for Christmas. The stay was wonderful. Good welcome from Laurent with all the explanations about the management of the house. The large rooms and the decoration of the entire house with great taste and cozy. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils to cook anything. The distance to Bordeaux is 15/20 minutes by car and the beautiful place next to the Garonna . They had the deference to leave us more time to leave the house, which we greatly appreciate. All in all a wonderful stay and we are looking forward to coming back . Thank you so much !Steph and Laurent

What a beautiful Airbnb! The house was beautiful, and the garden with swimming pool was really a picture. Everything was neat and clean, and we relaxed here enormously. The only thing we were wrong about was that the landlords were right next to us. As a result, there was a little less privacy than we had expected. This is entirely our own preference and does not affect the quality of the Airbnb. It's just something to consider if you want to be a little more private.

We had a lovely stay here for 6 days in Fronsac. Very close to lots of beautiful vineyards. Would recommend!

This stay was everything an Airbnb should be and more! Her place was welcoming and so incredibly homey. The design of the apartment is also incredible, with such an attention to detail! The location is also perfect - a quick 20 minute walk to the center of the historic district but tucked away enough to get a full nights rest without any interruptions. Helen was also incredibly responsive and had such fabulous recommendations. Next time we find ourselves in Bordeaux, we know exactly where we’ll be staying!

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Auguste's home was perfect for a family holiday. The house is large, airy and features lots of areas to relax and socialise in. The surrounding gardens, pool and dock are stunning. The home is situated at a quiet lane with Auguste next door. He was an attentive and helpful host and gave us all the space we needed. Our group did not have a car so relied on taxis, with mixed results - so keep that in mind. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks

The accommodation is a little gem in a green setting. Beautiful quiet and peaceful garden where you can chat with a very talkative and cuddly cat or meet chicks wandering around, looking for a few things to eat. The hosts are attentive and caring and leave, scattered throughout the house, lots of small attentions. Thanks again to Sophie for all that.

Stéphane’s place was perfect for our needs. Just on the outside of Bordeaux, which was easy to get to via public transport or Uber. Looked just like the pictures. Very European old world charm and located in a peaceful neighborhood. The garden space on the 4th floor was so enjoyable to relax and enjoy wine after your day. Please note that this residence is 4 floors so if stairs are an issue, you may want to reconsider. Stéphanie’s brother Olivier met us on check in and acquainted us with the place. This is an old historic home built in the 17th century, but had all the modern convinces you need. Olivier was super responsive to our questions/needs and was able to accommodate our late check out request (merci beaucoup). We hope to come again!

I can’t say enough about Marie and Gilles, the owners who live next door, who were kind and incredibly helpful during our one-month stay. They are the best! The house is beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are lovely, with trees, flowers and lawn, and beyond the property are rolling hills of vines. The kitchen is well-equipped, the wi-fi is great, and everything was perfectly clean. This is a jewel, and I highly recommend!
