Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Gironde estuary

Great place in the heart of Bordeaux City old town. Only negative is that there was no dryer as listed, but the drying rack worked well.

the house was pretty good and enough for two people. the surrounding area was safe, quite, very close to nice supermarket, and lots of well designed restaurants. if we will plan to visit bordeaux again, salwa’s place will be the first option for us!

Beautiful apartment! No complaints, the accommodation is welcoming and very clean, good location (close to Bordeaux and convenient with a parking space), spacious (with a beautiful exterior). I would highly recommend it! In addition, the welcome was perfect. Rémi is reachable and check-in is also easy ☺️

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It’s spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The supermarket right downstairs was incredibly convenient for grabbing essentials. While it’s not super close to major tourist spots, everything was still within walking distance, making it easy to explore. The kitchen was well-equipped, perfect for cooking meals at home. Highly recommend for a cozy and practical stay!

We spent almost two weeks in Alexandra's apartment and had a fantastic experience. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were plenty of board games and equipment for mini golf and table tennis. The surrounding area offered a variety of activities such as a swimming pool, splash park, eco park for tree adventures, biking paths, and the opportunity to rent bikes. There were also tennis courts, Padel, and squash facilities nearby. Overall, we highly recommend staying at Alexandra's apartment for a fun and active vacation. The amenities and activities make it a great choice for a memorable trip. Merci!

It is actually a hostel with lots of availabilities. The rooms was clean and nice. There was even kitchenwares if needed. The area is beautiful and very close to Bordeaux center. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I did this reservation very late night and sudden but i was glad that there were available places.

I am glad I booked to stay here during my Volunteering assignment with Paris 2024 Olympics. This was my first visit to France . The tram station next door to this location was a big factor to make this a great experience.

What a beautiful memory I would keep of this apartment. I recommend 200% this place where several apartments are gathered in an intimate and cozy place. The inner courtyard is superbly decorated and harmonious with several “cocooning” places where we can lounge or do yoga;-). The apartment was as in the photos…… clean, soberly decorated and cosi. Nearby: an excellent bakery, a convenience store and a little further away from big shopping in a very nice shopping center! (You won't miss anything;-) ). Athletes will be able to give themselves to joy: beautiful bike path, beautiful harbor ... All together for lovely walks and running. As for Vanessa: what a beautiful meeting…. She made you comfortable right away. Very responsive, she advises you very well on the amenities and places to visit around. Beyond that, I really appreciated his kindness and authenticity;-) Thank you Vanessa!!

We had a pleasant stay at Martin's with our cats. Beautiful environment, quiet in the forest. The accommodation matched the photos, the apartment was clean. We were able to enjoy the pool and the services of the nearby hotel, too bad the weather wasn't good😅. Thanks to Martin for his responsiveness and directions that helped us find the accommodation easily.

We had a pleasant stay at Laurence's place. Peggy was able to welcome us as soon as we arrived. The garden is very nice apart from mosquitoes😁. The apartment is very well located. We'll be right back. And thank you also to Laurence who always responded quickly to our requests.

Very nice and very well-equipped small house in a very quiet residential area. Elodie is an exceptional host both in terms of her responsiveness and her listening... not to mention her sense of humor. I would highly recommend this ideal rental for small families.

Everything was great. The house is very clean and looks even better than in the pictures. Great location near the center and the Citadelle which is a beautifull place for a walk, icecream or picnic. Also near Bordeaux both with buss (only 2.5 euro) or by car that you easily can park by a tram stop outside the city centre of Bordeaux. We enjoyed all the beautiful wineyards around Blaye and a visti to Peybonhomme is a must! Sophie was great in every way and she made sure we had everything we needed, also for our child. I would absolutely recommend staying in Sophies house!

The house surpassed our expectations and was very well located close to all amenities in St Emillion , but, was also very private . The games room was a bonus ! The house was spotlessly clean and Very well equipped with everything we needed. The communal areas gave us plenty of space to be together and socialise. Great outside dining area which we used a lot as we had great weather. We were in St Emillion for a family wedding and would love to return to this very special place. Amy was helpful in answering queries before our trip and the lovely caretaker was very welcoming . Would thoroughly recommend this spectacular house for a family holiday .

Our two hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The rental is very nice and cozy. The indoor heated swimming pool as well as the gym with sauna are a real asset. Recommended!

We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!

We enjoyed the garden including the dining table and the outdoor lounge. The living room is spacious. The house is well located, quiet. Access to the lake and ocean is easy by car.
