Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gironde estuary

Very nice stay in Franck's villa, very welcoming person and very good tips, the house is in a very good location near shops and places to visit and very well-equipped, and thank you again for all these small touches on arrival. We will not hesitate to come back. Valerie.

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

We had a wonderful week. Fred and Sabrina could not have made us feel more welcome. Would highly recommend this for a couple looking for a relaxing break close to many areas of interest. Every need was catered for and more and went way beyond our expectations. Very nice people.

Perfect apartment for 1 family with 2 children or 3 adults We really felt at home, everything was there. Beautiful visually independent terrace with the hot tub. The person dedicated to check-in/checkout is responsive and very friendly. If the opportunity arises, I will take it back immediately Don't hesitate!!!

Valerie is a very hospitable host. The apartment is very clean and very convenient. The garden of the house is beautiful. The ocean is within 15 minutes' walking distance: ideal location!

We had a great time as a couple, with our dog, in this beautiful apartment on the first floor with a terrace on the port and one, facing south, on the road (which is quiet). The apartment has all the necessary equipment, the kitchen and bathroom are modern and everything is functional. The 2 terraces allow you to always eat outside and make your choice according to the wind or the sun. Piraillan is very central for discovering the peninsula, with quick bike access to the Truc Vert beach. Thank you Corine for your welcome.

A small stopover from Andalusia to Germany, very close to the highway, you can park in the courtyard, and you don't hear anything...... unfortunately the fig trees were not ripe yet.. The hosts asked what time we would arrive and were so kind as to turn on the air conditioning. Since we arrived late, we did not see the host, but at check-out, and he asked us if everything was okay, we would definitely stay there again

The villa was absolutely stunning and so chic! Phillipe and Fabienne were the best hosts and really looked after us. A lovely archanese villa, lovely interior design in a brilliant location. We had an amazing break for 10 of us and will return.

An excellent host, very helpful, warm and responsive. Perfect accommodation, as described. Safe (for dog), secure, spotlessly clean, excellent amenities. Good walking nearby, great restaurants and an easy drive to Lake Cazeau for both waters ports and swimming or just sun bathing. Good restaurants here too. Overall an excellent place to stay.

The stay at Mathilde's went very well. The accommodation is very comfortable with magnificent views of the garden. We had good information and were welcomed at the Verdon train station. We recommend this property and hope to be able to return

Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Lovely place to stay, a little oasis with a secluded garden and pool hidden from the road, which we thoroughly enjoyed using. Anne was lovely and welcoming and happy to provide lots of suggestions throughout our stay. Lots of lovely touches - we had food in our fridge, fruit to eat and she left us a basket of fresh bread on our first morning there. Great location, easy to walk to the river and all the shops but close to public transport when needed.
