Highly recommend this place! The place and hosts are so welcoming and setting is stunning. One could spend a long time there and still not see everything in the area - it’s a great location to go and explore from. But staying in is great too, we didn’t even want to leave the cozy wintergarden with views of fields full of wildflowers. And the place is very comfortable. Loved it.

Beautiful old house with a lot of style and very functional. Surrounded by gardens and parks. Susann is very welcoming and responds very quickly. The rooms are very spacious. Without a doubt, if I return to Freiburg, I will not hesitate to repeat. The location is perfect, a very quiet area and a 10-minute walk from the cathedral.

I came to Freiburg for 5 days to explore the surroundings, so the location was perfect from my point of view. In 15 minutes, you can walk to the main train station or the S-Bahn station. There are also options to rent a bike, which makes perfect sense in a bike city like Freiburg. In addition, I wanted to work on a project in the evening in peace, which was always possible without restriction. The small apartment is far enough away from the train tracks that they could only be heard in the distance. I also didn't notice the noise from the beer garden on the property. A big advantage is the beautiful old tree population at the house, which provides shade. At 30 degrees outside temperature, the apartment was always pleasantly cool. The fridge was slightly filled for use upon my arrival and there were a few basics for cooking, I didn't have to go out on the first evening. Fritz is helpful and friendly! :) Highlight: Wednesday market at Stühlinger Kirchplatz!

We stayed for a wonderful month in Ulf and Andrea's beautiful apartment. We loved the balcony for the stunning sunsets, the fully equipped kitchen and really appreciated the washing machine. Being able to park our car safely off the road was a bonus. And of course, we were just a short tram ride from the centre of Freiburg. What more could anyone want?

We had a wonderful stay at this really nice and well-equipped apartment. Thanks to Theda and Marcus as very nice hosts, we lacked nothing. Together with the surroundings, the good wine, the magnificent view from the balcony and many beautiful experiences, this was an all-round perfect Airbnb experience for us.

We felt super comfortable right when we entered the apartment. The location is very idyllic and quiet. Katrin was super easy to reach and sent us tips for the area. The apartment is very well equipped with everything. Looking forward to a 2nd time!:)

Beautiful stay at Elisa's place for a couple of days. The flat is cosy, homely, in a cute neighborhood very close to the train station, and communication was easy and pleasant. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Merzhausen/Freiburg. The apartment is very nice and quiet in the center of Merzhausen (there is a church nearby, church bells can therefore be heard) It's bright and well laid out. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped (including capsule coffee machine :-) Lilly and Samuel always responded super quickly and helped us with all matters. Highly recommend

A most beautiful apartment with everything needed to feel at home. There was even a mini bar which would be especially helpful when one arrives on a Sunday. The location is perfect to explore the old town and Tom was greeting us at check in, showed us around and explained everything, also gave us a list of great restaurants which were really amazing. Highly recommend this place.

The apartment is nicely furnished, for 2-3 people. It was a great view of the town hall square, even the tower of the cathedral could be seen, here you are in the very best location. Good restaurants nearby, e.g. Tarte flambée :-). And many guided tours start in front of the house every day. The value for money is very good. For those looking for peace, not recommended. The party people on the streets are loud until the early hours of the morning - especially Fri/Sat/before holidays.

Very nice and clean place

Felix and his family have created a true oasis in the middle of the Black Forest. A place of rest that is perfect for slowing down and recharging. Pure idyll, only green in front of the window. In bad weather, the cozy, lovingly furnished apartment invites you to make a fire, read, cook and look out the window. In good weather, everything is open to you in the middle of the Black Forest. In 10 minutes by car to Himmelreich and then 15 minutes by S-Bahn you are in beautiful Freiburg. We enjoyed the 10 days and especially the bad weather days. Thank you dear Felix for sharing this wonderful place with other people.

We enjoyed our stay at the flat. The kitchen has everything you can think of and more. We found the bed very comfortable. Access to the forrest is just a few minutes walk away from the flat which was great.

We had a really good time in the apartment offered by Marion and Nadi. They communicated with us well in advance of our stay and were kind and helpful when needed. Checking in was easy. The apartment was really neat and just the right size for three people. Plusses for the beautiful balcony with great views of Freiburg. I thought the location was good; Not exactly in the middle of the city, but a short walk away. I recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Freiburg!

We spent two pleasant nights in this apartment and felt very comfortable. The place was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The location is quiet and yet well connected – ideal to relax and explore the surroundings at the same time. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated, and the check-in and out went smoothly. We were traveling with children and even though the apartment is not specifically designed for families, everything worked well for us. Thank you for the pleasant stay – we will be happy to come back!

We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The hot tub and the view were just beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

Damien was very welcoming when we arrived. Very clean accommodation. Everything is correct as in the pictures. Great place for couples. I would highly recommend it!

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.

Absolutely charming! Can't wait to come back.
