Beautiful walks, private stay, self check-in

StephenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a wonderful place to stay, even though it was just for one night. Definately the nicest place we stayed in 2 weeks cycling/travelling from Lands End to John O'Groats. A really lovely and spacious living area with a comfortable bed and with everything you could you could possibly need. Nice breakfast with wonderful homemade bread. Everything was perfect and would happily stay again. Highly recommended !

Jane's Place - Large Family Room

Lovely, spacious room in large property on the quiet High Street in Gordon, offering on-street parking very close to the front door. My room was large and had a huge, comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. I was only there for two nights but had a very comfortable stay.

We had an incredible stay at The Mill. The house was so lovely and very clean and tidy. We made use of the sauna and steam room, as well as the tennis court! The facilities were amazing, would 100% return. Thanks for the stay x

Cosy, double room, free parking, nice area.

Nicholas, was and is an excellent host. Very passionate about his guests, and he goes the extra mile to ensure they are comfortable and enjoy their stay. He is very generous with his space, time and offered good recommendations of places to go to. And finally his home is indeed cosy and so peaceful. I would stay at his place if I come back to Scotland.

Award Winning - Wee Lodge The Hawthorn - Tiny home

AbbieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a fantastic stay at the Hawthorn Pod & couldn't recommend it more! The pod was beautiful & the views were spectacular - especially when enjoying them from the private hot tub! TIP: If you have a clear night, make sure to turn off the lights in the hot tub & look out for shooting stars! The hosts were very helpful & friendly, and joining Damien on his morning rounds to feed the farm animals was a lovely bonus. I can't wait to come back & experience the different accommodations on the farm.

Yew Tree Bedroom

KevinRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Crookston House is by far the best place we have stayed in the UK. Georgina and Malcolm were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The house and grounds were stunning. We felt we were being invited in, not only into someone's home but, to share and experience a piece of history. The whole place is beautiful, fascinating and so relaxing. We had the Yew Tree bedroom which was fantastic. We also had access to the downstairs rooms and after a day of hiking and sightseeing was a lovely way to relax with a glass of wine surrounded by family portraits and so much history.
