Newly decorated with contemporary, stylish furnishings offering you all your home from home comforts. This quaint 1850 former fisherman's cottage is in a quiet-off road location, less than a 2 minute walk to the promenade & the beach. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, cafés & the stunning Royal Military Canal are all within 10 minutes by foot. There is a tiny outdoor seating space, but NO GARDEN. There are many original features & a functional AGA stove, which also heats the property and keeps it warm and cosy, particularly in the winter. *STRICTLY NO CATS ALLOWED AT MINTY COTTAGE.

Our home and Annexe is situated just off the main road in the village of Lydden where we are surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and have access to beautiful walks on the chalk downlands and the Whitecliffs of Dover Coastal Walk is also close by. The village of Lydden has good transport links being adjacent to the A2 connecting Dover to London and within the easy reach the High Speed rail route to London St Pancras, Dover ferry port and the Eurotunnel.

The Yard is a two-bed interior-designed cottage in the citadel of the beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye. It is situated down a cobbled passageway next to a pretty tea room. PLEASE NOTE – The property can sleep up to two adults in the master bedroom and one child in the single, with a pull-out camp bed if needed for an extra child. We also have a travel cot for an infant. Please be aware we have a steep staircase.

This charming little cottage is the perfect break away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. With sea views and in a tranquil setting with a short walk to the high street with plenty of historic features in the local area. There is a single bed which must be requested upon booking (extra £10 per night). I am afraid we do not accept pets or children under 10 years old.
