Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Floresta

Francesco's vacation home is great on the slope of Etna with a terrace view to the north-east. From the terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the vineyards and the valley of Linguaglossa. You can really enjoy your peace and quiet there and there are two restaurants within walking distance. A rental car is nevertheless recommended to explore the great surroundings (excursion to Etna - 16 km, beach south of Naxos - about 20 km, Taormina (great recommendation) - about 30 km, gorge of Alcantara - about 20 km and and and). All in all a very nice vacation home for up to 4 people with a great quiet location and fantastic views. We will be happy to come back.

The place is nice and clean The kitchen is rather spartan, which is sufficient for simple meals, but somewhat limited for elaborate cooking. The journey is a little adventure, but with a little attention it is doable for everyone. The landlady is very friendly and easily accessible if needed. Overall, a recommended accommodation for those who appreciate peace, views and comfort!

We spent a great week at Marcello's place. It is a beautiful property with a charming garden and super friendly cats. Marcello was very helpful and attentive. Gave us very helpful tips and recommendations. We definitely recommend and we enjoyed every minute! Kitchen has all the essentials. Plus, an outdoor space for cooking and dining. There's a nice beach club with crystal clear water nearby, only 5min walk. Having car at this location is recommended- there are many places to discover and the garden has a secured parking.

We loved the place , very peaceful , close from the city , 7 min by car ,if you like to rest in a calm and rustic place and not being far deom the center, this is a perfect place , with its private terrace , beautiful garden.. . Brando is awesome always available and helpful , so we really recommend this place to explore Catania and it's surroundings.

Alessandra and her husband met us at check-in. We got in late 10:00 pm, they saved us from a very long journey with food! They are so accommodating and thoughtful 💕 The house is everything you could ask for. We utilized all 3 outside areas everyday. The front for breakfast and sunrise, the back for the grill, which we used alot, and the fabulous rooftop for dinner and cocktails. The private neighborhood is filled with gorgeous homes/villas. We drove everywhere from up north, to down south, even to Palermo, all about 2-2 1/2 hours from the house. Evenings are quiet, only the sounds of the 🌊 sea. We will definitely be back. Perfect location for walking everywhere and surrounded by restaurants and bars . Be prepared for a bit of noise at night but we did not have an issue sleeping. Lovely terrace for relaxing with view to mt Etna. Has a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Anna is an incredible host! She and Simone met us at the apartment for check in and carried our bags up the stairs and showed us all around her beautiful apartment. They also gave us great recommendations for dinner in the area. The apartment is beautifully decorated and in a great location - no more than a 5 minute walk from the main sights. Overall we had a great experience with Anna!

Amazing stay and host. Extremely helpful and located in a great location. You can look down off the balcony and see the fish markets below and you can walk 50m and be the the piazza looking at the Duomo.

Nice apartment, the bathroom and the boiler leave something to be desired. The location is very convenient, although the very noisy street at night could create problems. With a little re-styling it would be a gem. We will definitely be back as soon as the work is done!

A very artistic studio located in the heart of Catania, easily accessible by car. The space is situated within a residential building (note: no elevator), but it's safe and secure—we had no issues during our stay. The host was incredibly accommodating and highly responsive.

The apartment is very well located. We spent one whole day only in Catania and the other 2 days, we took day trips. The apartment was perfect: close to basically everything (even the Museo dello Sbarco is only one subway station away). We had an issue with the AC as it wasn’t functioning and Salvatore came by to fix it even though it was late. We are a family of 4 and we weren’t on top of each other. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Nice water pressure which is not always the case in Sicily. The elevator is of course a big plus. The restaurant across the street serves delicious pizzas. Lots of choices for ice creams and granita in the neighborhood: we didn’t manage to try them all:) Bellini’s museum and family home is not far and worth the visit.

The accommodation is cool. Very atmospheric, I think, very much in line with the spirit of Catania. Spacious and clean, matches the photos and description. The host is very hands on, quick responds It's very easy to get into the apartment with a mini safe. You can easily find a parking space. Quiet, sometimes you can hear motorcycles at night, but they don't bother you. Walking distance to the city center. I definitely recommend choosing it

The place is very clean and comfortable. The mattress is perfect so you can rest easily after the whole day of sightseeing ;) The host is very helpful and eager to communicate. The access to the building is restricted and we felt very safe. The area where it is located is not very interesting itself, but is very convenient if you rent a car - you get a spacious, private parking lot and the road to Val di Noto is very close, you do not have to travel through Katania to get out of the city.

A very nice apartment…. The entry sounds confusing before you get there but once you get there, it’s pretty straightforward and Giuseppe was always available and very flexible. There’s a lovely little back deck that’s eclectic and wonderfully private. Maybe a few hooks in the bathroom …. For the price, I would really recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place in Catania, Sicily. It’s tucked away in a quiet little alley, which made it very peaceful, yet it’s just a short walk to the main shopping areas and all the key tourist spots in the city. The location really couldn’t be better. Our host, Elisa, was absolutely charming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We’re very grateful for her hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania. Thank you, Elissa!

There’s not much to add except that everything was absolutely perfect. The apartment is stunning—beautifully furnished, fully equipped, extremely comfortable, and ideally located within the city. We received the best communication, assistance, and helpful suggestions we've ever had from any of our previous Airbnb stays. We also booked a private tour to Mount Etna through our host and had an unforgettable experience with our guide, Simone. Five stars all around. Thank you again!

A clean, comfortable, spacious apartment in a great location. Equipped with everything that can be useful, a very well-equipped kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms with showers, which are very comfortable, a washing machine in the internal patio, two TVs and last but not least, a pocket WiFi to take around. The location, very favorable for both the train station and the bus station, allows you to reach both the center and the seafront in a short time. A compliment goes to Vittorio who proved to be an excellent host, very friendly and helpful and generous with information that we greatly appreciated. I hope to return to this cozy home.

A great place for a fair price a bit outside of town centre but can get metro for 1€ to town in about 15 min. The place is more uphill so you get a great view from balcony.
