I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

We had a great stay in Tina’s place. Tina was always very helpful and very quick to respond to requests. The place is really peaceful and beautiful. To sit outside and listen to nightingales singing, scops owls calling at night and many more birds was fantastic. The only other noise was the bells on the cows as they came past the house to go for a drink. The flowers along the tracks are gorgeous. The place has a fantastic ambience. A wonderful relaxing retreat. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

The apartment is spacious, very clean and in a good location. Massimiliano was available and friendly and nice little detail: the table was already set for our breakfast, with copious groceries available. Thank you very much!

we had a great time in a beautiful village close to etna. the property is beautiful, and we felt very welcomed by the owner, his cute dog and even 2 horses.

Great Airbnb! Graziana and her husband went above and beyond for us! The kitchen was stocked with breakfast pastries, juices, yogurt and milk. The views from the balcony were magnificent. Highly recommend.

Claudia is a superkind and very helpful host, she’s ready to answer all the questions always very fast. She came to the train station to meet us and showed us the town. We are very grateful and thank you again! The apartment is amazing, we felt like at home. It is a seaside flat, and has a balcony with sea view and with a beautiful flowering tree in front of it. We spent 5 days in Nizza in october, it’s a calm small town, it was definitely not crowded by tourists, the beach, the sea and the weather were all great. You have everything you need (bakery, café, shop) in walk distance. Nizza is a good startpoint to visit other towns nearby, as it has train and bus stops. Highly recommended!

Highlights • Excellent central location near the fish market, restaurants, and nightlife. • Clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment, very comfortable beds, hot water will run out if you have consecutive showers of three or more. • Livio is an outstanding host who provided helpful recommendations and support throughout the stay. He followed up and checked in regularly to make certain we were comfortable. Considerations • Nightlife noise between 12-4 AM may disturb light sleepers. • Limited bathroom counter space for six guests (manageable but worth noting). • Parking is challenging through out Catania so this was a minor thing considering: a shared, uncovered patio about 800 meters away is available, but it requires precise maneuvering (parking with the back bumper against the wall). A Peugeot 5008 can fit, but a minivan would be too large. Overall Excellent stay. We strongly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful place! The apartment is very large and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and a perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

Ideally located to visit the east coast of Sicily, close to the airport. The place is quiet and welcoming. Even the late check-in went very well. I would this place.

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for exploring Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this does not affect the positive assessment of the apartment and the host in any way, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

Elisa’s place was great! The location is perfect just down the hill from Taormina, it is an easy walk up to the parking garage which takes you right up to Corso Umberto. Place was perfect and just as described. Restaurant above was fantastic and the views are unbeatable. Oh and the shower water pressure was amazing. Noise above due to the restaurant till about 11:30pm but it wasn’t a problem for us. Would stay again!

We stayed at the accommodation with three children. Maria provided us with a cot, a high chair and even a stroller. We were very impressed with how child-friendly the stay was. Maria also contacted us again to see if we needed anything and if everything was okay. The accommodation itself could not be better located. There is a great café that is also open very early, a great park with playgrounds is 3 minutes' walk and the old town is also around the corner. We'd come back any time.

Carmelita’s place was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It had a perfect view of the harbor. She was very responsive and helpful! She was flexible with check in and made sure we had what we needed. Parking was right in front of the home. It’s not easily walkable, as the restaurants and walk along the water are not easy to access but we did walk around a bit. You need a car if you want to go to the old city center - or possibly take a bus. And the back side of the house faces a busy overpass, though it was not too noisy. The house was fine for us, as we did have a car. Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed at B&B Villa Giorgia for three nights and had a truly memorable experience. Mrs. Pina was a gracious and attentive host, offering helpful tips for exploring Taormina during the Easter season. The property itself is beautiful, with an eclectic charm and artistic touches throughout. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Mount Etna—we were fortunate to witness a volcanic eruption during our stay, which made it even more special. Each morning, we were served a delightful breakfast featuring local produce, and the espresso was exceptional. The atmosphere was calm, homely, and serene, making it an ideal place to unwind. Our room was cleaned daily, which added to the overall comfort and care provided. We highly recommend Villa Giorgia for anyone looking for a unique and welcoming stay in Taormina.

It's a nice place with an amazing view. We had a bit hard connection during check in, because women talk only in Italian and it is hard to understand, but it is okay. The room is really good. Etna's view is incredible! Breakfast was so sweet but tasty and good. Thank you 😊

Our stay in Catania was gorgeous. The apartment is in an old baroque palace. It has a great location, just 200 meters from Piazza del Duomo, so you can easily and safely go the old town even during the evening/night. Our host was very responsive. It is really worth staying at that place.

Giusy and her family were amazing! I love the location of the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Very easy to reach and safe by car. Giusy gave us a very warm welcome and kind introduction. Home feeling of stay there with a pretty skylight garden featuring air-con. We love the homemade cake served by her. It was our birthday road trip. There are lots of nice restaurant and easy to reach to the volcano tour. Everything is perfect. Even we received daily suggestion of attractions from her. We had a very nice stay for 3 days. The stay with Sara was simply beautiful, the accommodation is quietly located, you have absolute privacy and can quickly reach the surrounding cities by car. Sara is very friendly, prepared a great breakfast for us every day, we felt so comfortable. 100% recommendation!
