Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Engelberg

This time we are a few Chinese people from different countries who came here, the host wants to say that the location is perfect, the surrounding scenery and human culture, including the host himself, are all very perfect. My favorite country is Switzerland. It's perfect.

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

What a great stay, will return. Very functional and cosy home with incredible (even for Switzerland) views. Hostess Susanne was very helpful and very responsive and the house was perfectly set-up, well-stocked kitchen, everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable and the duvets and pillows were lovely. Recommended.

The studio is lovely, the bedroom is burnt to the ground. The location is excellent (close to Mount Riggi). The studio is quiet, well-equipped, clean and quiet, and the landlady is very responsive. We enjoyed it very much.

A perfect little apartment for a ski trip in Engelberg. The place is super cozy and clean with an amazing view toward the end of the ski piste and the lake. Evelyne was very responsive and gave us clear instructions for everything. Thank you for hosting us, we will be back for sure!

Our stay at Marco and Viviane’s accommodation was exactly what we needed. The space is thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for our family, including everything to cook and enjoy meals at home. The essentials were perfect, and communication from start to finish was clear, kind, and helpful. We were so grateful to be in such a peaceful, quiet area—truly a breath of fresh air. The views are absolutely stunning, and the gentle sound of the river was the perfect natural white noise. The home’s aesthetic is warm, beautiful, and inviting. Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

Absolutely incredible thank you

The Airbnb has a spectacular location just by the lakeside and the views are incredible. The apartment is well equipped with all amenities and the kitchen has all the equipments needed to comfortably cook your own food. For self check in we had a bit of difficulty cause the mailbox was not labelled on the outside saying Romantic Lakeside Apt hence we were unsure if we were in the right place, had to open all the mailboxes and check, that wasted a bit of time. The host is quite friendly but not too quick with the responses but we did not encounter any great difficulty as such. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb, Vitznau is a very pleasant town and we really enjoyed taking the ferry to Lucerne. Overall it was a great experience, the scenic location of the apartment really makes one happy!
