We were looking for a retreat for Memorial Day that would keep our toddler busy but offer a peaceful setting, free of crowns for our newborn and Erica’s place fit the bill exactly! The property looked even better in real life than in the photos. The place was stocked with amenities. Every time we said “I forgot XYZ” it was available in the house including: bug spray, firewood, marshmallow sticks, coffee thermos, wine, and more! I’ve never stayed at a place that had so much available. The spring water provided in the dispenser was very helpful, especially with little ones. Our toddler enjoyed looking for salamanders and frogs, splashing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, and bird watching. Cracking the bedroom windows provided the perfect white noise from the creek. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy coffee while soaking in all the nature. We also enjoyed the Amish trail, Ellicottville Brewing, and pastries from Early Bird Ranch. A perfect family staycation!

Not to mention- he went above and beyond for us. We were celebrating our anniversary and he ensured there were flowers there upon our arrival 🥰 we will be back again! Host was very responsive and gave recommendations when we asked. The house itself and the surroundings are lovely and we didn't want to leave! Many things were provided to us so not once were we concerned if we'd forgotten to bring something. They were even kind enough to provide us a bunch of dry firewood since it'd been raining a bunch our first day. Would love to visit again in the future when it's warmer and the plants have bloomed :)

The Bear Den was the perfect place for our summer sibling trip! Joanna and Dan were amazing hosts! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fire pit and hot tub were such nice additions. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! The area was quiet and private. We made a lot of great memories here and would definitely stay here again!!

The Ellicottvill Chalet was a perfect place for a get away. The house was spotless, well stocked with all your kitchen needs and paper products. Loved the hot tub and the wide assortment of games. Location was perfect for a quick run into town or a hike/ski to Alleghany State Park. Jeff was very responsive and check in was easy. We will definitely be heading back. Many thanks - Tricia

Great place to stay for all seasons!. The walk to downtown isn’t as close as mentioned but still very convenient! It’s very comfortable and right across from a ski resort so if you’re into skiing, you can’t beat it! Would certainly stay again.
