Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

The red construction trailer on our old farm on the edge of the village offers a great view. Time to unwind and enjoy the simple life in nature. Space to unwind and pause. The spacious construction trailer has everything for a good simple life: sink, stove, fridge. You can relax in the 1.40 cm double bed or on the cozy sofa. Outside: Outdoor warm shower and compost separation toilet. In winter, you can take a warm shower in our separate apartment.

Rural living in the countryside, ideal for active people

Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

This is how to stay on vacation: Three double bedrooms and three shower rooms, a superbly equipped kitchen, fireplace, dining room, small pantry kitchen on the slope, a large furnished terrace area and a fantastic view of the Harz Mountains from everywhere. A double bedroom and a shower room are located on the sloping floor and are accessible via a rustic staircase from the first floor.

Das 42 qm (2 Zimmer) große Apartment "Chalet Emma 2" in Sankt Andreasberg wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail im Jahr 2021/2022 vollständig kernsaniert. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in zentraler, aber dennoch ruhiger Lage. The flat is lovingly furnished and has a large balcony with a breathtaking view. Situated a few hundred metres away from St. Andreasberg, it is wonderfully quiet, yet everything is within walking distance.
