Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in East Riding of Yorkshire

We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Ben was a great host he responded to all enquiries and provided clear information regarding check in. The apartment is a flat 10 minute walk from York train station and also to Micklegate one the entrances to the town centre. The apartment is in a modern development and seemed very new. If self catering there is a small Tesco nearby. One minor suggestion is the addition of some wine glasses and a mixing bowl other than that we really enjoyed the apartment

Great communication from the hosts prior to arriving, did not need to contact during our stay. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable into the centre within minutes. Very well equipped kitchen , with many utensils, glasses, plates etc. Lovely living room with a comfy sofa and added bonus of Apple TV, plus a DVD player with a selection found in the bedroom. Great double bedroom, with blackout blind, wardrobe and drawers. All in all we had a fabulous 2 night stay in an amazing private apartment! Thanks for our stay 😄

Great flat, perfect location, especially for train travel. Very close to city center and walkable. The place was clean and well stocked with all essentials. Really comfortable beds. Overall, very nice place. Would definitely return.

Very well located in the centre of Howden a stone’s throw away from the minster. Had everything we needed for our stay, easy check in & friendly host. Off street parking was available & the host was able to give lots of recommendations for places to eat. If we find ourselves in Howden again we would definitely choose here. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at this property - it was a super location steps to all the sights and restaurants in York, but quiet and comfortable. Great water pressure in the lovely, clean shower and the bed was very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Highly recommended for exploring amazing York!

Perfect location! Easy walking distance to everything including The Shambles & so many restaurants and great shops. Flat was comfortable size with many amenities provided. Instructions during check in were very helpful and easy to understand. Would not recommend for those with severe mobility issues. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs. The bedrooms have a slight slope to them. This was not an issue for us but if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. I recommend this to those looking for a flat close to everything. Also some nights were more livelier than others. Saturday night had lots of street noise from those enjoying night life. If you don’t plan to join in on the fun during that time, I recommend ear plugs if you are turning in early and sensitive to outside noise. Sunday night was very quiet and no ear plugs needed. None of these things were an issue for us but could be for others. Bathroom was on the small side but suited our needs.

We’ve just arrived home after a lovely weekend stay for my partners 30th birthday, we had balloons and Prosecco in the lodge when we arrived. The place was absolutely spotless and so modern facilities, the place was so homely and cosy. Overall site was clean and well looked after. Melanie was amazing, so helpful and responsive to messages. We are already planning our next stay, thanks so much! X

Great house, good kitchen equipment, really comfy beds, secure rear garden. Very peaceful. Very close to the beach and sea front walks. Close to Mr Moos access to the beach and great food

This property was fantastic as a family base for visiting Hornsea and the surrounding area. Easy walking distance to places to eat, the beach, parks and the leisure center. The house itself was spotless, and 3 great sized bedrooms. We couldn't have asked for more

We had a lovely stay as a family of 9. The house was beautiful with great amenities including the sauna and hot tub which were clean and great to relax after a day in Beverley. Adelaide was a lovely host and able to answer any questions we had. Some great recommendations in the guest book too!

Beautiful, comfortable private home situated in an ideal location. The home was lovely and clean and had everything you needed for a short stay away including comfy beds. Gill is an excellent host and I highly recommend her property. We will definitely be visiting again.

Just back from a 2 night stay in marks property. Had everything we needed and more. Beautiful home spotlessly clean. Came for a family wedding and wished we’d booked longer. Would definitely stay here again.

Angela was very welcoming and friendly, she gave helpful and easy to follow instructions to find and access the property. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was great, nice walks nearby and well placed for travelling further afield. Would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

Bridlington is a beautiful sea side town. Very charming and near one of the best RSPB reserves! Bempton Cliffs RSPB is a must see if you love wildlife and nature!

Paul sent excellent directions for us to make our way from the train station and then he met us upon our arrival. This accommodation is very bright, clean and comfortable and in a fantastic location. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. All the kitchen ware is a very nice quality. Paul left us a generous welcome package of fruit and treats which was greatly appreciated. Paul is a caring and attentive host and it was lovely to meet him. We look forward to our next visit. Dagi and Chris were superlative hosts. They reached out shortly after my check-in to ensure everything was good (it was!). When I had difficulty locating something, Chris dropped by almost immediately to assist. They haven’t neglected anything in the extra touches: from the arrival chocolates to the breakfast pastries and cereals and milk, to the coffee, to the facial wipes, everything reflected thoughtfulness on their part. The flat itself is perfectly situated. It’s less than five minutes to walk to a local grocery store, only ten minutes to The Shambles as well as to a well-stocked M and S, and under 15 minutes to The Minister.

I can't recommend the property or Karen as a host highly enough. Peaceful location yet only a 10 minute walk into York. The apartment is spotless, modern and comfortable. From the initial booking right up until check out, Karen has been very helpful and responsive. We've had a fantastic time and will definitely book here again.

Slightly apprehensive as this was my first time using airbnb but my fear was unfounded. The absolutely beautiful snug was the perfect stay. From leaving us complimentary bread, croissants, buns, a bottle of orange juice, a bottle of milk, butter with 2 selection of homemade jams, multiple choices of teas and coffee. A basket of drinks and chocolate was supplied at a rate of £2.50 per item which is brilliant if your caught short. Robes, slippers, towels,shower gel, a cabinet full of womens makeup and other necessities was also provided. I have no bad words at all to say about the snug and before we walked out the door we knew we would be back.

Vic's place was lovely and peaceful, could not have asked for more, even the little bottle of pocessco and sweets on arrival was lovely, the bed was comfy and shower great too, so if your visiting York you can't go wrong with Vic's place, parking outside, then take a taxi into centre for convenience.

Would highly recommend Eleanor 's place. It was as described, very clean and comfortable, bedding and towels good quality and spotless. Lots of thoughtful extras and felt so comfortable and relaxed. lovely location, easy walk to City. Lovely and quiet at night, perfect location. Eleanor was extremely helpful and accomadating.
