Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East Providence

The backyard bungalow was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip to Warwick. It is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple! Easy access , nice parking , and close to most everything

Kelly’s place was perfect for our weekend stay! It was clean and uncluttered. Had just what we needed; two bedrooms and a bath. We did a lot of walking and were not in the home much so the simple amenities were perfect for us. Under a mile to Brown, very walkable to campus and also just a few blocks from restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe. Kelly was gracious and friendly. Will stay here again if we ever make the trip back!

The cottage was as lovely as described and on beautiful grounds. Stephen welcomed us with his delicious homemade carrot cake, a bottle of bubbly and a welcome card for us and a graduation card for my son! It was all delightful! Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at the house. My family of 6 (3 generations) plus the dog all had enough space. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything you could need. I can’t say enough about the fenced in back yard. All spent some time on the swings and the dog had lots of running space to play ball. We would definitely book again.

Mehdi is a great host as he helped make my weekend very enjoyable. I was in town to propose to my gf (she said yes!) and he was so responsive and went above and beyond to assist with our needs. Highly recommend this place as what you’re saying in the pics is truly what you are getting. We plan on being back in the future!!

Nellie’s place was amazing! Full of charm, but every modern amenity. The beds were VERY comfortable. Lots of really nice and thoughtful touches- like sleeping masks for the room with 2 sky lights, a welcome gift of wine and oat milk and butter in the fridge. She even left toys out for the 9 month old in our party— a lifesaver!!! R Nellie was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This is our second stay at Courtenay's historic home. As she describes - it's an old home with the idiosyncracies of a home with over 200 years of history. It is a spacious home with lovely furnishings. Kitchen has all you'll need. The area can't be beat if you are visiting Providence and/or Brown University. We were lucky enough to book her house during our son's graduation and could walk up the hill to the campus in 5 minutes. Courtenay is always responsive and flexible. We will stay there again!

Lavonne’s place was exact what I was looking for with beautiful views. We spent a long weekend while attending my daughter’s graduation at JWU. The location was ideal for either a peaceful cup of coffee on the deck or a short trip into town to check out the local shops. Would definitely recommend!

Very cozy, clean place! When you’re inside the apartment, you wouldn’t know you were right near the 95 freeway :) very nicely and generously appointed! Francis was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to my plans, which were a bit up in the air.

The apartment is really great, very spacious, conformable beds, very well equipped and wonderful bathroom. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and CVS. Quiet neighborhood and Farmers market close by during summer. Hosts are extremely nice and respond to any questions in a matter of minutes. This is the second time me or my family stayed in the apartment and have always had a great time. Thank you very much!

We stayed for 5 nights at Carmel and Mike’s place and we had the best time! The place was clean, inviting and spacious. You can tell that great thought was put into making it feel like a home away from home for anybody who might stay there. From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed with how well the place was stocked with anything you might need, including cooking utensils, tea, coffee, shampoos and conditioners, etc. Everything was just as described in the listing, and they really left no stone unturned. The real highlight of the place is the rooftop deck, which we made great use of during our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough, and we will definitely be making several return trips in the future! Thank you Carmel and Mike!

This place was exactly what we needed. It was a peaceful, quiet place to relax after a day of site seeing around Providence, Newport, and other places.

Susan's place is a nice, quiet, cosy little attic apartment. It is exactly as depicted in the photos and described in the comments (and in all the other reviews). The location is a quiet, residential street. The bed is comfortable. The shower works well. If you are as tall as I am (6'2''), you'll find yourself crouching in some parts, such as by toilet and getting in and out of the shower, but I was able to stand upright for most of the apartment. The location is convenient enough. It is possible to walk to/from the train station (about 20 mins) and to Downtown Providence (about 30 mins). I had only a backpack with me and was therefore able to use a Spin scooter to quickly get to/from the city. Overall, the place matched what I was looking for my short, two-day stay in Providence. Had a lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and just as described. It was also really well-located - easy to get around and close to everything we needed. Felt like a perfect home base for the trip. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Pelham Court! The location was the perfect spot to be near the main attractions around Thames Street and convenient to walk elsewhere. We loved having a private parking spot for our car as well. Bonus perk for being able to bring our dog with us! The hosts checked on us every evening if we needed anything—provided recommendations, and were super friendly and welcoming! Only downside to being so close to downtown is the loud noise from a nearby bar late at night on weekend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Newport/Pelham Court and hope to come visit again in future! Thanks for having us! :)

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Alex’s place was a great stay to recharge and relax after the long days we had last week. I would highly recommended this place for anyone popping through New Bedford, or staying for a few days! The airbnb was spotless and quiet and clean. I will be renting here again when I need somewhere to stay when I’m back in New Bedford! Also very close to downtown all the coffee shops, and restaurants! Quiet neighborhood.

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.

This is a ground level apartment in an historic home just off Benefit Street, a prime location on Providence’s College Hill. Because of the sloped terrain, it might seem like a basement apartment from one side, but it has a garden entrance at the front door. If you can handle the steep streets in this hilly area, it’s a perfect location if you want to be within walking distance of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Downtown Providence. I did not rent a car while staying here and never felt I needed one. Tall travelers should be aware that this dwelling has low ceilings by modern standards. That didn’t bother me in the slightest; in fact, it made the apartment feel more cozy. Nevertheless, visitors over six feet tall should be aware of this aspect and make an informed decision. The apartment has a warm, comforting esthetic with all sorts of art on the walls and books on the shelf, and both made a great background for video conferences using the robust wifi signal.
