Cabin vacation rentals in East Frisia

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozily furnished house with plenty of space. A relief was the garden: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

Rob’s place is great, the terrain around the house is super large and was perfect for my dogs. Rob was a great, welcoming host, offered help when needed and respected my privacy.

The apartment was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent. We enjoyed Kirsten's cottage. We had booked the cottage for our Honeymoon, and it is really a romantic place. It is wonderfully quiet, you can enjoy the birds and sounds of the forest. The house is full of comforts and nicely decorated. The conservatory was very cozy, with the fireplace, really a nice place. We made good use of the spa: sauna, outdoor shower and hot tub. Floating and drinking in the hot tub was a favorite. And the bed slept really wonderfully, which is nice! Norg is in a beautiful area. Easily accessible with the bicycles that you can use at the cottage. The contact with Kirsten went very well, she responds immediately when you have a question. She had arranged a sweet welcome package for us. We enjoyed it and would love to come back.

Johanna was very responsive and offered to pick my partner and I up from the nearby town. On the day of our checkout she drove us to the nearby village for easier access to public transport, very kind and friendly woman!

As chalet accommodation goes this was pretty good. Great that there are two separate toilets. Kitchen is adequate for short stays.

Had a wonderful stay (despite the sad reason; funeral) in the middle of the forest. Dog also enjoyed it and was happy with 2 fireworks-free days and nights. Was ample of everything, so do not wash dishes immediately. Grateful!

For people who love peace and nature; this is a lovely cottage, well cared for and cozy with lots of trees and a beautiful view. Marieken is very flexible and attentive, which is nice and gives a welcome feeling. We will definitely come back!

We had a very nice and relaxing short vacation. The children (6&7) immediately felt comfortable and were very sad when we had to leave. You are really very much on your own, you only hear birds - the cottage is also very well located for excursions to Bremen and Bremerhaven.

I was completely satisfied with the stay at Olaf's log cabin. It's very quiet there and I was able to continue writing my book and get back to my strength for a few days. A bus stop is nearby and you are then easily in Wilhelmshaven and can continue from there e.g. to Hooksiel. A little tip: In the evening, dial-a-buses also run back to Wilhelmshaven from Hooksiel. Olaf is very helpful and made my arrival very easy. Yes, I felt very comfortable there. Price/performance is also great... I was there alone, but there is enough space for three people. I will definitely check if the cottage is available at the next opportunity. Thank you so much!

I spontaneously booked a weekend getaway to Martin's cottage and that was a good decision! The cottage is very cozy, the forest is beautiful and there are many beautiful hiking trails nearby. Highly recommended!

We were there with our two children (3+5) and the two felt comfortable immediately. The property is completely fenced and provides security. The cottage feels like "being at home." Nearby is a small playground and it is only 10 minutes by bike to the Schloss Dankern park. We had good neighbors in our time, which is why it was quiet, but that sometimes means nothing 😉 All in all, however, a great house. We will be happy to come back.

We had an all-around nice and relaxing time at this wonderful place. We didn't miss anything – everything was prepared and thought out with a lot of love. We would like to highlight the large, completely fenced, fantastically beautiful garden, which was a small paradise not only for us, but above all for our two Labradors. They were able to move freely, sniff, relax and simply be dogs – a gift for humans and animals. Everywhere blooming, large rhododendron, which filled the air with a fine, floral fragrance. The location is wonderfully quiet, with great walking paths right outside the front door. Communication with Meike was also absolutely uncomplicated and pleasant. We immediately felt welcome and everything we needed was there. A place to feel good, switch off and arrive – we will be happy to come back!
