Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party or an event, this is not the place for you.

Urban Tranquility Tree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.
