Waterfront vacation rentals in Dana Point

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! It was such a cute little beach house. Small home but the layout and lack of clutter made it feel bigger and functional. It was the perfect location for easily walking to the beach or dining near the pier. We would definitely stay again!

Will was a very responsive host and had great recommendations for the area. Just be aware that since this is an attached space to the next-door neighbors, the sound from upstairs is a bit prominent like footsteps/loud sound. Couple of knick knacks like the shower door and fridge door were to be fixed, but that was acknowledged to be repaired. Otherwise, I would love to stay here again.

Place was wonderful. Check in was ok. Directions was confusing around the place and map was not to helpful at all. Steven was great w/ communication.

This place is awesome! You can’t beat the location. Walking distance to everything and the sand is right out your door. The showers are right there too, so it was easy to go from beach to inside. Loved being on the 3rd floor for privacy. Clean space and all you need. We’ll be back!!

David was an amazing host and very attentive to detail. His place was beautiful and very clean. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very communicative. The apartment is right next to the beach and in a quiet Neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and a great selection of restaurants. The space itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh and inviting from the moment I arrived. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it so easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway!

The place is comfy and has a great location walkable to really everything you need. I enjoyed that it was close to everything but still very quiet, peaceful, and safe at night. I will mention that I almost thought about cancelling before I came because of the communication through the messages when I asked questions or suggestions. When I arrived or maybe a day before, the customer service did seem to shift and my stay was enjoyable.

The place was exactly as described and we felt incredibly comfortable. They had a cute set up and the pool was clean. The host were lovely and efficient. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.

I recently stayed at this beach house, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the stunning ocean views. The house itself was immaculate, nicely decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. I especially loved the deck where my family and I enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The bedrooms were also cozy and comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like coffee, snacks, and beach towels provided for our use. Casago management is also very responsive!

We had a wonderful stay at this kid-friendly Airbnb! The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and fun trip with little ones — beach toys, a stroller, and even outdoor mini golf! It made our park visits and beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly matched our taste — we honestly joked that we wished we could live there! Every detail added to the comfort and charm of our stay. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating of our needs, and the location was ideal — close to all the San Diego attractions we had planned to visit. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend for families visiting San Diego.

Anthony's place was great! He and Amanda were super communicative and the place was easy to get into and was exactly as described. We had a great stay. If you are unfamiliar with the Carlsbad area, as we are, there are a couple of helpful things to know: - there is quite a bit of street noise as the home is directly on the street across from the Pacific. - the beach directly across the street from the house is at the bottom of a bluff - there are quite a few stairs to climb down in order to reach the beach/water. - there is no beach across the street at high tide - the water comes all the way up to the bluff - there are great beaches about a half mile either direction from the home that are easier to access. None of this would have changed our decision to stay, but would've been good to know if we were more familiar with the area. Overall great stay, at the home was very well laid out for my elderly Mother with all amenities on the first floor and not stairs to enter the home.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Carlsbad home. It was 5 minutes away from a kid friendly beach and Legoland! The backyard was very spacious and peaceful. I loved the open layout of the home and we could see the backyard from the kitchen window. Our boys loved the extra room where they would play with their toys and lounge on the couch. The bathtub in the master bedroom was a nice addition for relaxation and I appreciated all the wonderful amenities. I was really impressed with the towel warming rack in the master bathroom. Overall lovely home and we hope to stay there again in the future!

The PERFECT place!! Location. Location. Location. Clean. Responsive. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. It had it all. Parking for 2nd vehicle was a challenge but really not that bad. Neighborhood was super safe and plenty to do and walking distance. Truly amazing in every way. Highly recommend.

Sunset Dream House is truly the dream home we’ve always longed for. Located in a golden spot, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Fun Zone, the Ferry, or Bay Island. If you enjoy jogging, cycling, or relaxing in public parks, Marina Park, Memorial Park, and Peninsula Park are all nearby. Surprisingly, despite its convenience, the house offers a peaceful and tranquil vibe. That calmness comes mostly from the interior — a perfect blend of modern and unique design, complemented by smart and user-friendly tech features. What made the experience even more special was the host’s hospitality. They were warm, responsive, and thoughtful — even preparing some practical little gifts for us, which made us feel truly cared for. We felt welcomed from the very beginning and completely at ease throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both convenience and serenity in one place!

Had an amazing experience. The view from this location is incredible. The place was spacious, clean, and felt like home. The host met us at gate and was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended great places for us to do in the area. Just an amazing place to experience!!!!!!!

Had a nice at Oceanside for my Ironman weekend. The apartment is a walking distance from the pier and the harbor, and the beach.

This was the perfect place for our family or five, and Dalma was the perfect host. Everything was great, as many other prior reviews have already articulated in great detail. You can stop looking for a better spot to stay; book this place now!

Definitely somewhere I would book for another stay! Nice little get away only step from the beach my fiancé and I spent every night once home with the windows open to hear the crashing waves and would just hangout on the balcony enjoying every minute of peaceful bliss!

We love the location and amenities at Paul’s place. Very quiet unit and lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful surroundings. A new hot tub opened by the pool during our stay which was wonderful!

Ms.Sandy provided a very welcoming AirBnB rental to relax and decompress in. From her initial inactions, she was extremely helpful with detailed instructions and helpful suggestions. As a bonus, the HOA also offered recommendations on places locally to dine at and entertainment. It’s the combination of these two that make for an enjoyable experience. Ms. Sandy’s place is clean and features 2 smart tvs for your entertainment pleasure. Just remember to log out of your streaming service before checking out. If you need a bit of fresh air, the beach is close by, along with the harbor with eateries and entertainment. Or just walk around the compound and enjoy the various water features and koi pond. For you golfers, bring your putter and enjoy the putting green. There’s also a swimming pool and gym, however the beach is just minutes away. You can definitely put your trust in Ms. Sandy for a very enjoyable experience.

The beach was literally within steps! We were looking forward to having a relaxing trip - which we did. I loved that beach chairs and coolers were provided had we needed them. Assigned parking made me feel safe.
