Dana Point vacation rentals

Penelope’s home was exactly what we hoped for - clean, easily accessible, close to shopping and activities, plenty of parking space and comfortable. We never needed to reach out for assistance as everything was listed clearly and comprehensively both in the listing and in the house manual. I could not recommend this home and Penelope as a host more - I hope to return in the future!

I love going to Dana Point! The beaches are nestled into coves with idyllic views at the bottom of some intense staircases! The BBH is THE BEST place to unwind after a day at the beach. The shower is exquisite. Everything about the decor and outdoor spaces were perfect for a beach retreat hideaway. We arrived after dark to discover the magical lights arrayed before us like we were entering a whole new world. We would have enjoyed arriving earlier, but now that I’ve experienced the magic, I will intentionally arrive at sunset. I especially enjoyed the daybed on the veranda. My daughter and I had wonderful conversations that we probably wouldn’t have elsewhere. Living in California is perfect, but the BBH is magic. I hope to spend many more nights here with my family and friends.

The unit was very nice. It is large and comfortable and accommodated 6 adults without difficulty. The beds are comfortable and large. The stairs are very real though and quite daunting. Not for the faint of heart or weak of knee. We were there for a wedding in San Juan Capistrano with venues also in Dana Point and the location was excellent.

Very clean, cute decor, comfortable and spacious (for our family of 5people), has a lot of ample amenities even for kids! Clubhouse, pool & jacuzzi access. Securities at the gate were friendly and the Neighbors mostly seem don't mind having Air BnB guests in a gated community. Walking to Waldorf hotel took about 10m, beach about 20m. But the restaurants and stores were in short driving distance. We really enjoyed this spot. Thank you!

A great stay and beautiful home. It was the perfect spot to relax after morning surf sessions. I would both recommend this BNB to others and stay here again. I was really impressed with how well stocked the home was. The host really provides everything you could need in all parts of the home as well as welcoming snacks, and other goodies. Clean, comfortable, and spacious.

This place is amazing! As close to the beach as you could be. Great to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Highly recommend

Cary was amazing, and communicated in a timely manner. Everything was clean and looked just like the photos. This house was within walking distance to resturants and close to the beach! You can smell the ocean from the balcony. This property was beautiful! I will book again the next time I'm in town.

Ed was a great host. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could think of, even Qtips in the bathroom and a dog bowl for my pup! Beds were comfy and house was very clean - yard was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Cali weather. Can’t wait to rent again!

The best staycation (4 nights, 5 days without travelling on a plane or driving forever) we ever experienced. From the email and text communication from the Airbnb host Mo and Vanessa to the welcome basket (wine, personal toiletries, local magazine), the clean and tasteful property, the extra thoughtful touches like the bougie boards, chairs, and toys for the beach, and the great local recommendations. We want to return again and again and make this a tradition. We left their home refreshed, peaceful, and happy because of all the hospitality and love. THANK YOU BOTH for going beyond!

The moment we saw the breathtaking view on the listing my partner and I knew we just had to stay here. The host was very friendly and responsive. The place itself was clean and the photos provided showed exactly what they offered. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding smelled amazing. Although on the smaller side, we weren’t too worried as we were only there for one night. We arrived shortly after check in and spent some time on the deck admiring the view and then when it got darker started the pit. Check in was smooth and easy to follow. Clear instructions were provided for the fire pit and the sauna. Neighborhood was very quiet even in a place as busy as LA. Would definitely stay here again for a quick trip!

Fantastic stay! We loved our time here. The house was beautiful and clean. Exactly as described. Very well stocked kitchen and linens and towels. Not stripped down like other rentals I have stayed at. The location was perfect. Walked right to the beach or restaurants. No driving needed which is key as parking in the area can be tough. Neighbors are friendly and even though this house is so close to the pier it was very quiet. Will definitely come back to stay again.

We loved it. We decided to stay at a home instead of s hotel for a wedding. We were so comfortable and we had plenty of stuff to entertain the family.

Gorgeous stay in the hills of Ramona. Lisa was very responsive and often proactively reached out to us to resolve any issues. We had a great time

Annette’s place couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were looking for. My husband and I wanted a getaway that was relaxing, but in an area where there were restaurants, bars and close to the ocean, and this was it! The house was very comfortable and stocked with everything you can think of, including the hot tub in the back yard. We loved the special touch of Annette meeting us to walk through everything in the house.

Had such an amazing stay in Los Angeles, mainly due to Michael’s place meeting and surpassing expectations. Incredible views of the city and the attention to detail throughout this place made us instantly feel comfortable and at home. From the large comfortable beds, both bathrooms and showers, the home cinema, the kitchen and dining area layout and in the instructions put in place telling us how everything works was a really nice touch from the host. Our host, Michael, was very helpful from the day we reserved to the day we checked out, such a friendly and informative host. Thanks a lot, can’t wait to visit again. Neil & Sandra

The house has the most amazing view. It has a private space for myself, my Dad, and my daughter. The sunrise and sunset were amazing. Being able to walk to the beach in seconds was amazing. Private and zen but very close to all the restaurants and stores if you need anything. The parking is easy, but tight but our SUV fit.

What a wonderful Airbnb experience! The bungalow was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially loved taking advantage of the outdoor amenities, including the cold plunge, sauna and hot tub. The outdoor space was perfectly tranquil. Our daughter and dog loved playing in the yard. The proximity to downtown Carlsbad was a huge plus. We were very happy with our stay!

We stayed during an Easter weekend. Our son is in the Army so we needed a spot for our family to stay to enjoy the holiday together. After looking online for a place by the ocean we found Casa Laguna. What appealed to us at first were the reviews and how response the host was. Well let me tell you it was even better than we anticipated. The rental is not only a block from the beach it also the grocery store and restaurants. We had no idea how central it was. We had a blast walking to get coffee and sitting on the beach, doing a kayaking excursion, dining on the beach and lots of shopping. It’s all right here. The rental has two floors and lots of room for our family of 5. The place was immaculate and the decor is adorable. Check in and out couldn’t be easier. The host communicates so quickly and even let my son drop his surf board off early. We had the best time. Our only wish was- to stay longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. You made our Easter so special.

Diane was an ideal host. Great communicator and very responsive. The place was located close to the beach and walkable to restaurants in town. The second floor ocean view spotless place was spacious with plenty of natural light and privacy.

My girlfriends and I had an amazing weekend at Logan’s house! It was the ideal getaway for our annual Mother’s Day trip. The home was just as described and only steps from the beach. We adored the decor, especially the pink accents, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Anthony's place was great! He and Amanda were super communicative and the place was easy to get into and was exactly as described. We had a great stay. If you are unfamiliar with the Carlsbad area, as we are, there are a couple of helpful things to know: - there is quite a bit of street noise as the home is directly on the street across from the Pacific. - the beach directly across the street from the house is at the bottom of a bluff - there are quite a few stairs to climb down in order to reach the beach/water. - there is no beach across the street at high tide - the water comes all the way up to the bluff - there are great beaches about a half mile either direction from the home that are easier to access. None of this would have changed our decision to stay, but would've been good to know if we were more familiar with the area. Overall great stay, at the home was very well laid out for my elderly Mother with all amenities on the first floor and not stairs to enter the home.

Had the best time at Aaron’s place!! The backyard is dreamy, loved sitting and hearing the waves crash in the backyard. The view is gorgeous, it was so hard to leave!! Aaron was responsive and helpful, highly recommend Aaron’s place!

We loved our stay in Dana Point and would recommend this airbnb without hesitation. The location is incredible and right on the beach. The home is so well-appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a ton of family fun with all the games and bikes and beach gear that come with the house. We got to see dolphins swimming in the waves right in front of the deck on our last day which was a real treat. Julie was a wonderful host - so thoughtful, kind, detailed, and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely come back and stay again if we get the chance! Thanks again Julie!

We had a great few days in this place within easy walking distance of beaches, restaurants and Heysler Park. The house is spacious with high ceilings and very homely. There is everything one needs inside and the backyard has a great eating space but lovely smelling jasmine.
