Vacation home rentals in Costa Rica

This house is beautiful! The rooms are great. The kitchen is large and it has a nice pool and hot tub. It is set back from road 100 meters and has a private gate making it feel very secluded. There are some nice local restaurants with great views of the city 10 minutes away as well as a small grocery a few minutes away. We had a great stay!

I really enjoyed an extended stay (over a month) at the Coco Sunset Hills property being managed by Tropical Gardens. This staff is the happiest and friendliest ever. The property was all that is was advertised to be. Many different and beautiful pools to swim in on very well landscaped and maintained grounds. The property itself was wonderful (2 floor, 2 bedroom) with all modern conveniences, great A/C, room fans, and weekly cleaning services! I have told my friends about this place and will also be back.

We loved this Airbnb! It was the perfect end for our trip. Would definitely stay here for an entire trip! The beach close by, the terrace, the pools, and gated community were awesome and made our Costa Rica trip better. The host was great when we couldn’t find the office space to check in due to construction, but she came all the way out to the street to help us! Friendly staff!

My family and I were so pleased with our choice. The home was very clean, lots of parking. The outdoor covered patio is perfect for rainy evenings. The pool was cleaned as soon as we got there and we enjoyed it every day. I recommend going to the home before going to the grocery store because it is well stocked. Martin even had coffee from their family and it was the best coffee we had the whole time we were in Costa Rica. The restaurant recs from Lorena were on point and delicious. I suggest staying for at least three or four days because the amount of wildlife that traverses through the property changes from day-to-day. There is a resident sloth that lives right outside the gates and we saw him three out of the five days that we were there. another sloth that we saw every morning on our walk that was about a 10 minute distance from home. So many tropical birds. We would stay here again, highly recommend. Check out was extremely easy and effortless. Also, several walkable restaurants.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Freddy’s place. He’s a great host. The pool is lovely and the property is surrounded by nature. The house is comfortable and cozy with lots of outdoor space. This is our favorite place to stay when we are working in the area.

Excelente ubicación, implementos de cocina muy completos y algunos artefactos incluso nuevos. Sin embargo, destaco que la mesa de comedor estaba extremadamente sucia, hasta con pelos de gato incrustados encima (tuvimos que limpiarla 3 veces para que quedara decente y no saliera el trapo negro). Además, la ducha era bastante incómoda porque no había presión para el agua caliente (no así el agua fría). Por último, los ventiladores estaban muy viejos y polvorientos. De todas formas, tuvimos una excelente estadía.

Ein absolut traumhafter Ort! Die Unterkunft von Mike ist ein echtes Juwel inmitten der Natur – wunderschön gelegen, mit einem liebevoll gepflegten Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet und angenehm klimatisiert – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an rundum wohl. Die Kommunikation mit Mike war hervorragend. Er war jederzeit erreichbar, unglaublich hilfsbereit und hat sich um sämtliche Touren und Aktivitäten vor Ort gekümmert, was unseren Aufenthalt extrem entspannt und besonders gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Hinweis zur Anreise: Drake Bay ist nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen und man sollte die Anfahrt im Voraus gut planen. Ein Allradfahrzeug ist definitiv empfehlenswert – aber die Mühe lohnt sich in jedem Fall! Für uns war es ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Absolute Top-Empfehlung!

This place is total gem 💎 its pictures do not do it justice. It’s absolutely breathtaking, modern, safe at location is close enough to everything yet good distance away so you can enjoy the private luxuries the place offers. It is clean, clutter free, well kept, has the items you most need and everything works especially the A/C. The added bonus is the excellent concierge service with High Vibe it blew my mind—exceeded expectations!! I cannot thank Janice for this added touch which made the trip so relaxing because I knew there was a team right there at the ready to answer questions and respond to our needs. We would book again without blinking!

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool is killer - the bushes and trees provide a great sense of privacy, and we spent hours in the pool reading and chilling the day away. Samara is at walking distance (at least for us), and there are some nice bars and restaurants to hang out for drinks and dinner, Ryan has good advice if needed. He is always available with recommendations. The only disappointment was the beach - go to Playa Carrillo instead!!! We definitely recommend Ryan’s place!!!

This was one of the best places we´ve stayed during owr trip to Costa Rica. The kids really enjoyed the pool while watching monkeys, iguanas and beautiful birds in the property. The location is great, near the sea and not far away from both Montezuma and Cabuya. We had a great time and recommend this beautiful place.

This is a wonderful place to stay if visiting Nuevo Arenal. Very good location and beautiful view of the sunset from the living room. The friendly dogs added an extra treat to the location for us. One note, as navigation apps in Costa Rica are tricky, follow their instructions carefully and download the picture of the gate leading up to the house before you leave reliable cell coverage.

El lugar es como las fotos, tiene una limpieza impecable, súper equipado. Todo está en excelente estado. Recomiendo llevar un carro grande ya que al llegar es muy empinado y con calle de piedra.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was immaculate and we enjoyed the most amazing views (we even saw a howler monkey in the palm tree right beside the balcony)! The pools felt like they were essentially private and it was super quiet in the evenings. The drive up the hill is a bit of an adventure (pretty typical of Costa Rica), but totally worth it for the views! 10/10 recommend staying here!

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! I was traveling with my elderly parents and two kids (1 yr and 3yr) . The house was adorable, great art , comfortable sitting areas, the kitchen was well stocked, everyone had plenty of space. My parents stayed upstairs so could escape to quiet from kids! There were toys, books, cribs, high chairs, even floaties for the pool! When traveling with kids this is a huge plus to not have to pack these items! Very quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed hanging on the back deck! We walked to beach and restaurants with both kids and my parents no problem! Plenty of towels , and beach chairs! Very clean and Sebastian was super responsive and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back ! I would give 10 stars !! 🌟🌟🌟

A group of eight of us (two families with kids) stayed at Ana's house in April. The four bedroom layout with shared kitchen & living room worked out well for our group. April is one of the hottest months in Costa Rica so we were very happy to find that all of the bedroom ACs and living room AC were adjustable and worked well to keep us cool. Although the true highlight of our stay was Mari! She made us feel so welcome and well cared for, she is very kind. Every morning she would make us a delicious breakfast (which you choose from a menu Ana sends ahead of time) and it would always be served on time. Mari also keeps the house in great shape with daily housekeeping (or as desired). We also enjoyed the private pool and surrounding lounge areas. It was fun to go outside in the morning to see a green parrot/parakeet(?) family that lives in the tree on property. We also saw daily lizards sunning themselves in the yard but they kept their distance. Overall a great spot to call home.

Wonderful experience! The house was very nice and spacious. Lovely outdoor space, huge pool, nice outdoor dining and BBQ area, beautiful views especially during sunset time! Beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, good house for large groups. Kitchen had everything you could need. Definitely make sure to have a 4x4 car like the description suggests, the drive to house from main road is about 20 min of steep hills and dirt/gravel road. You get used to the drive after the first day. Worth it for the amazing views and privacy at the house. We were able to spot many animals around the house and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner every day with spectacular views. They have many pool floats and toys. The host was very friendly and quick to respond for anything we needed. Thanks for everything! Pura Vida

Es un espacio limpio, ordenado, claro y acogedor. Hermosa vista tuvimos un atardecer inolvidable y pasaron Lapas rojas varias veces frente al balcón. La piscina muy limpia y bien cuidada.

Mi calificación para este hospedaje es 10/10, lo recomiendo 100%, Ale es muy atento, nos hizo sentir como en casa, nos regaló unas empanadas súper deliciosa, les voy hacer una descripción corta pero que espero les ayude a tomar una buena decisión. vimos desde nuestro cuarto varios monos entre los árboles y al otro día fue mágico, porq pudimos ver cuatines y monos Titi, con sus crías y gracias a Ale pudimos alimentarlos con bananas. En conclusión este hospedaje es ideal si quieres compartir con la naturaleza. Se Me olvidaba decir que también vimos al perezoso, por eso es importante estar mirando la copa de los árboles.
