My family and I had a really great stay! The place was perfect and the views were absolutely stunning. Maria is a fantastic host. She arranged for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast to be delivered the morning we left! It was fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and would certainly return. Great stay!!

I really enjoyed staying at Lorena’s cabin on the Rio Blanco: the river is absolutely gorgeous, the hike to river is beautiful and fun, and the home is beautiful and comfortable- didn’t even need any AC! The air flow was easy, not many bugs, and the air smelled so rich. We enjoyed the above ground pool - so cool after the car ride from the coast! We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

Our stay at this house was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning natural surroundings – truly a peaceful oasis. The house itself is incredibly spacious, with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic family getaway. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with numerous hiking trails nearby. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing – truly magical! The cozy fireplace inside and the bathtub were also a huge hit. Despite feeling wonderfully secluded, the house is also conveniently close to the town center, making it easy to grab groceries or explore local shops. This place really has it all.

What a beautiful place to stay! The view is incredible and you are constantly surrounded by birds singing (plus hummingbirds zipping around the bushes). The space itself is modern and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This accommodation has what you need if you are looking for silence, calm and a private space. It has the basics you need to cook, the Auto Mercado (the closest supermarket we found) is 40 minutes away. The neighborhood is very quiet and has very good views. The accommodation is quite spacious for 2 people.

The check is was very easy (having arrived late into the evening). The property was very clean and felt very homely. Leidy was very helpful and responded quickly! We would stay again

The place looks better than in the photos, the time was enjoyed to the fullest thanks to the themed rooms it offers and very important, Pedro was always present and very communicative. 100% recommended.

This home is beautiful and the location on the beach is amazing. There was a learning curve to get the air conditioning working properly which was likely user error on our part. Bring a soft cooler to carry cold beverages down to the beach so you dont need to run up and down the stairs.. Despite the minor criticisms above i would highly recommend this place. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

This place was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking to go to the closest national park it’s about 30 minutes. Airbnb is about 20 min from airport. The host was super responsive. Some food spots across the street. Very tight security I love that. Uber is very accessible.

Its a fantastic place if you want to keep contact with nature, although is near to the capital mountain’s view and all atmosphere helps to enjoy everything!

This location is so beautiful and unique! It is like being in a multi tiered treehouse in the jungle that is a block from civilization. One afternoon we had monkeys visit us and play on the trees around the house and roof! The host and housekeeper are very responsive. Know that some beds and rooms are separate apartments. But the main house is beautiful wood with an open layout that we all met up in by the fireplace in the evening. Amazing memories and trip!

We stayed at Reserva Atmosphere for two nights - two families with 2 toddlers and 1 baby. No kids furniture but we managed without! It was a beautiful place, well decorated. Thank you for hosting us !

I booked this listing for a group of 8 women. We all needed time to get away from our busy lives in the U.S. The six nights at La Sombra were peaceful and inspiring! What a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. We were all stunned by the property, in a good way:) It was even better than the beautiful pictures provided. Each villa was appointed beautifully with quality linens, towels, robes, bath soaps, dishes, etc. We especially enjoyed the patio views and the design of the structures that incorporate natural light and the surrounding nature. We ate dinner each night on the patio of the main house, and found a spot for morning meditations on the bridge. Catherine and Ryan were available and responsive before, during and after our visit. And, I cannot say enough about the local cook, Marta. We all wanted to take her home with us! What a treat:) Thank you for sharing your home with us, Catherine and Ryan!

We’ve stayed at some cool places over the years, but Casa Del Mono is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a perfect little getaway for anyone who wants to be close to nature but with all the comforts of home. It’s a very private property sitting way up the side of a mountain with a beautiful courtyard and hiking trails right out the front door. You simply cannot beat the view, and waking up to a chorus of birds like toucans, oropendolas, and tanagers was incredible (bring your binoculars)! The house itself is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and the shower/tub are gorgeous. It was everything we were hoping for in a Costa Rican stay, and I hope we get to visit again soon!

If you want peaceful and remote, this is the place for you! We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Giselle’s place was less than 5 min from Playa Coco, which was the best beach in the area (we didn’t surf but seemed like everyone that did also went there). There are not a ton of restaurants in the area, but as it’s easy to cook in the full kitchen and enjoy the beautiful views from the Airbnb, I’d recommend bringing your own groceries, striking up a fire and settling in. Watched the birds come in every morning from bed!

The house was very clean and comfortable and the view was better than the photos. It’s a bit of a drive to get here but if what you want is privacy, peace and spectacular then it’s worth the bumpy drive. The host was also super responsive and replied within minutes when we had questions.

What a beautiful home! This place is equipped, detailed, clean, comfortable and maintained. The views are endless. The nights are gorgeous. We spent the majority of our time on the back patio and in the pool. The outdoor shower was amazing. Francisco, the caretaker, was also just so fabulous. He was so helpful and just precious. It was just myself and my best friend, two females, and we felt very safe. They had very comfortable beds, sheets, pillows, towels, linens in general. My best friend and I felt right at home. Probably one of the most comfortable well equipped homes that I’ve stayed in. Definitely the cleanest. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Looking forward to the air-conditioning in the upper bedrooms!

Remarkable, immaculately designed and kept luxury villa. A little bit off the beaten path. Nearest airport being Liberia (LIR), 2 hrs away and you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Having said that, this place is absolutely a hidden gem you won’t want to leave in a hurry. Note: it is a remarkably large property and we could easily have fit another family of 5 (alongside us) and not seen each other for days. Hosts were always responsive and communicative and made our stay memorable and easy.
