Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Costa Rica

La pasamos muy bien ! La casa es amplia, tiene de todo para cocinar y lugares hermosos para compartir en familia!

Kevin’s space is fantastic! The outdoor space especially is stellar, and has something for everyone - pool, playground, outdoor theater area, pizza oven, you name it. The only thing is there aren’t any trees to provide shade, so it’s very warm in the middle of the day. Everything was awesome and clean and exactly as described. Kevin was super responsive and greeted us upon arrival. Amenities in the house were very thoughtful (e.g. he had the pack and play set up for us before we arrived for our son). The only bummer is the traffic from the road was a little loud when trucks and motorcycles went by, as it’s off a somewhat busy road, but not a dealbreaker by any means. Would come back for sure!

El lugar es pequeño, pero acogedor, las vistas hermosas. Cuenta con bastante facilidades, aunque no cuenta con cocina en si, tiene muchos electrodomesticos con los que se puede cocinar algo si se quisiera. Lo unico es que esos dias se estaba trabajando en el lugar y personalmente si llegue a sentirme incomoda por momentos. Pero despues de eso es un lugar muy bonito y Kim es una super host, estuvo siempre contestando mis preguntas y dandonos indicaciones

We stayed here for a week, everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As said by many already, the view is incredible, very peaceful and relaxing property. The house was very clean, beds comfortable, and all of the outdoor furniture was great as well. Our stay was towards the end of dry season so it was very hot so the pool was great to lounge in and cool off every day. The drive up the hill to the house was daunting at first but after the first go it was really nothing, we didn't have issues with a standard SUV rental. We saw lots of howler monkeys, iguanas, lizards and the daily overhead parakeet fly-by around dinner time. Jonathan and Kevin were very helpful onsite, great guys, we appreciated all their help and overall friendliness. Great property, close to Samara and a hard to beat view, would highly recommend this rental. Thanks for everything.

Loved staying here! Francisco the grounds keeper is super awesome and friendly as are the owners who we got to meet! The house is super well equipped and we had farm fresh eggs waiting for us! Amazing views, grounds are beautifully maintained and the porch is perfect for viewing the city below!! The chicken coupe is right next door and was fun to watch the chickens! Short drive to town and one hour to Irazú volcano and 30 minutes to the Sanatorium which both were worth going to see! We also had a bonfire which was such a treat! Don’t hesitate staying here!!

The most incredible view! One of the best locations we have ever stayed for sunsets, dramatic views, and wildlife. Wonderful hosts. I will add...this is a great place for explorers. It's not ideal for high maintenance folks. There are bugs, that get into the house. There's no AC - although the fans and mountain air made it comfortable for us. Very remote - amazing if that floats your boat - be ready to drive for any stores/restaurants etc. Overall, highly recommend 5 stars. If you're looking for luxury, look somewhere else.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

Appartement parfait avec vue imprenable. Notre hôte, David, a été très disponible, à l'écoute et très agréable. Bien situé pour visiter les différentes plages et villages du secteur. Nous recommandons de louer un 4x4 pour éviter le stress des routes du CR et la montée au logement. Pas de souci pour opter pour le chemin proposé par Google de l'aéroport, beaucoup plus court. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise d'utiliser la piscine ou autre facilité de la propriété. L'appartement est confortable et très propre. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Localización remota con hermosas vistas, perfecta para escapar de la ciudad. Rodeado de naturaleza y de clima frío. Los host están a disposición para cualquier necesidad. Se llega bien en carro y es mejor para movilizarse a supermercados cercanos.

Sin duda alguna la joya del lugar es la vista, es imponente durante el día cautivadora durante la noche, la cama es extremadamente cómoda, el baño es limpio moderno y agradable. El lugar cuenta con Wi-Fi estable y está cerca de varios restaurantes, definitivamente pienso volver, es un lugar excelente para descansar de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza o para una cita romántica.

La ubicacion y la torre estaban increibles, muchas opciones para comer cerca y la alberca muy bonita. El departamento en si estaba un poco apretado para 3 personas pero muy bonito y bien cuidado. Lo unico es que no hay aire acondicionado y si hacia mucho calor. El sofa cama estaba un poco incomodo pero todo lo demas estuvo muy bien!

Muy buena ubicación, limpieza nítida y camas cómodas con almohadas acogedoras.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich traumhaft und sieht genauso aus, wie auf den Bildern! Es steckt sehr viel Liebe in dieser Unterkunft und sie ist sehr gut geschützt. Die Mitarbeitenden vor Ort waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir wurden von allen mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Auch der kostenlose Zugang zum Coco Bay Club und dem Ocotal Beach Club mochten wir. Insbesondere am Ocotal Beach Club konnten wir unser Auto sicher parken und den Tag an dem wirklich wunderschönen Strand mit dem lauwarmen, glasklaren Wasser verbringen! Würden wir definitiv empfehlen! Für uns war es lediglich etwas herausfordernd, dass direkt nebenan jeden Abend von ca 18:00-20:30 in der Kirche laut Live Musik gespielt wurde und mehrmals in der Nacht Tiere auf dem Dach direkt über uns herum geklettert sind oder Motorräder laut vorbei gefahren sind. Es gab zwar Ohrstöpsel, allerdings sind wir oft ziemlich hochgeschreckt und hatten keinen guten Schlaf. Dennoch eine tolle Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern ☺️

The location is great, close to everything. I really liked the view from the room and from the pool. The only room for improvement is the bathroom. The shower is very y uncomfortable, you can't shower for long because the bathroom floor gets flooded and the shower has no door

Un lugar muy acogedor,tranquilo,seguro y limpio, cuando entras a la villa huele muy rico y está equipada con lo necesario para pasar una buena estadia. Aprovechamos la piscina y el rancho para hacer una carne asada. Cuando necesitamos ayuda,rapidamente nos solucionaron

what an experience! felt so surreal to be staying at this place. the view, front porch, garden, and the gazebo were great touches to enjoy nature without having to go into it. everything was cleaned well. lots to do around here! 10-20 mins away from all the fun things going on in Monteverde. curi cancha reserve, orchid garden, butterfly garden, el tigre waterfall fav place to eat Soda Shangri La would not drive in the dark. we stayed in after 530p small store 1 min away by car- 6 min walk that has basic essentials! would recommend stopping at bigger grocery store on way in for needs had a Mitsubishi fwd that had a 4x4 mode and that was a no no. not worth it to attempt to drive up. he has a small 2 car lot a bit above the base of the entrance - park there and walk up bugs galore. keep the windows/doors closed. also make sure you don't lock yourself out! if you do not like bugs please do not stay here. the bugs get really loud in the night, put ear plug & wear bug spray, reapply

My wife and i spent one night of our honeymoon at Ronan's b&b and we had a great evening. The jacuzzi tub and movie screen was very relaxing after a long day. The birds and hummingbirds were beautiful to watch and listen too. I highly recommend this host as everything was clean and set up nice. Local restaurants also deliver which was a bonus. WIll definitely return in the future.

The views along are worth it, and super friendly horses on the property is something our kids absolutely loved!

We loved our stay at Casa Colibri. For a rental in the "city" of Grecia it still felt very secluded and quiet. Beautiful grounds to explore and a nice trail down to a creek below. The accommodations were very cozy and it felt like we were staying in a well-loved home. Although it was just my wife and myself, it looked to be very kid friendly with board games, a separate room with a cute loft and extra beds, and a jungle-gym/swing setup in the front yard. Very well equipped kitchen, had everything we needed for cooking elaborate meals. Amazing views from the master bedroom out into the trees where we watched the mist roll in during the evenings and the lightning bugs frolic to and fro as the sun set. But one of the most special things about this rental was Sehidy. Her communication was amazing and she was very helpful in recommending things to do in the area. She is a lovely person with a huge heart and a big smile. We hope to see her in the future and stay at Casa Colibri again soon!

Nos encantó, la chimenea y la tina son top en medio de un bosque precioso, todo estaba limpio, nos comunicamos varias veces con Roberto y siempre respondió a tiempo y nos solucionó rapidisimo, ej le pedimos prender la fogata la segunda noche y su team llegó enseguida. La única recomendación es que lleven carro listo para las cuestas, volveremos pronto!!

We had an incredibly comfortable and memorable stay. The cabin itself is well-equipped with all the modern amenities. The air conditioning worked great, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Beautifully landscaped, very secure, and gated, which gave us extra peace of mind. Our kids had a blast, and we all woke up each morning to breathtaking views and the sounds of nature: toucans calling, howler monkeys in the distance, and sunrises that made each day feel magical. This place isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a total immersion in nature, with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

Increíble lugar, muy tranquilo y acogedor! Despertarse con la belleza del río y los árboles, el sonido del río y el que tenga varios espacios para sentarse en el exterior lo hacen único! El lugar es de fácil acceso, para cualquier vehículo y tiene todo lo necesario para pasarla bien, además Roger es muy atento, volveríamos sin pensarlo!
