Clinton Beach Bungalow #1 Waterside Landing

KaleighRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved our stay at Waterside Landing! The little beach bungalows have been lovingly updated but still keep that coastal charm. You have everything you could need, including the following much-appreciated items: wagon, chairs, umbrella, and even sand toys for the (very short) walk to the nearby beach. Trish was very responsive without being intrusive. She was always around to say hello and answer any questions we had. You can't beat the location. The listing is totally accurate to the space, so I will say it is best suited for a solo traveller or a couple. We had our toddler with us, and he slept in his pack and play in the living room, but that was our choice and Trish was very accommodating. If you need more space, check out her other listings for the larger house on the same property. We will be back!

A BREATHTAKING AND RELAXING PLACE TO CALL HOME

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Donna was honestly the best host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. She was thoughtful, kind, responsive, and seems like a very nice person. They had even snacks and food available for us. All of the personal touches really made you feel welcome and at home- like you were staying with a friend- not just renting out a cold stranger’s house. The space was clean and quiet. It was a wonderful experience for us. We will visit again when we can!

Beach Bungalow

GustavRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The place was great! And the recommendations were spot on - awesome host who answered all our questions! The only downside is you do need a car to get to almost any beach- it’s not as walkable as we first thought. When we were there, most of the beaches were closed due to bacteria from the storm but we found other things to do based on recommendations (Aquarium, Dino Place, Mystic Pizza/ice cream/exploring). Also, there’s a great captian (Eric) of a sailboat right around the corner you can charter (Sailworks). Lastly, this house is clean. We have two small children, and cleanliness is important and the house was perfect.

Cozy, romantic cabin by the lake.

LindaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was great for our family! It is hard to travel with 3 dogs, but ours felt right at home. The cabin makes you feel like your miles from civilization yet you are 5 minutes from the high way. For us it was ideally located between family, and our dogs acclimated like they were in there own home. The kitchen was well equipped even though we did not make use of any thing other than the coffee maker, the toaster, and the fridge. The lake is beautiful, the area was quiet, and the neighbors were all friendly and quick to give a wave. We would stay here again if we are up in this area.

Westport mid-century retreat

ShivrajRating, 5 stars47 months ago
Kimberly’s home is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. The large windows and skylights and surrounding wooded area give it a peaceful indoor/outdoor feel. We loved watching a family of deer (including two adorable fawns) running through the yard throughout the day. This was quite the novelty for us since we were visiting from nyc. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and intelligently designed. Kimberly clearly loves to cook and was generous in allowing us to use her personal cookware and spices. Her bathrooms are beautiful and tranquil as well. The living areas and outdoor seating are very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time and relaxing there. We visited for a week with our 15 month old son and he had a blast jumping with us on Kimberly’s trampoline and throwing balls around in her basement (she has a basketball hoop/balls and ping pong table but he hasn’t yet mastered those sports in his young life). Beyond the actual home itself, Kimberly was a fantastic host. She was easily reachable through text throughout our stay in case we had any questions or issues. She also went out of her way to provide us with suggestions and kid friendly ideas for the area. She even left a toy drum from when her kids were younger out for our son to play with. We are very glad to have found this home and had Kimberly as our host.

Ideal Hamden Getaway: Close to Yale and New Haven

MonaRating, 5 stars74 months ago
This a beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom home that we called our home during our stay for graduation weekend at nearby Yale. Ned was extremely communicative, responsive and flexible for our afternoon check-in. The home was comfortable and spotless and had everything we could have possible needed for our stay, including a kitchen generously and thoughtfully stocked with breakfast items. Do not hesitate to book this entire place as your own and we look forward to staying here again for our next visit to New Haven!

PaulRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Snug cosy little cottage, very quiet and clean. Fully matched our expectations. It's located in a nice neighborhood very close to Rowayton and a short drive to SoNo (South Norwalk) and Darien. Heather was very welcoming, responsive and helpful. we stayed with our two adult children and the four of us were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. We are going to look for excuses to visit again. Thank you Heather!
