My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

We loved staying at Lucy’s. It’s one of those places that has everything you need, from extra blankets, lots of silverware, to high quality WiFi. And the surrounding area is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this historic cabin in a beautiful location surrounded by trees next to a peaceful lake. Super cozy fireplace in the cabin, BBQ grill and fire pit outside made for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!

The host Cameron was spot on with how wonderful this area is, awesome communication day in and day out as well. Beautiful little living place anyone could ask for! With easy access to the beach and food spots for food lovers. Cameron’s house was cozy and such a relaxing spot to be in. 10/10 would definitely stay here again for future visits!

We had such a delightful stay here. The photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which we used extensively. When a couple of minor issues with the house popped up, Brian responded immediately. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The cabin is lovely, with a great wrap-around deck overlooking a bucolic scenery complete with a river and cascades. Jessica was always helpful and responsive and the house is comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen which is unexpected in an Airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Alex’s home was a vintage design beauty! You could tell how much thought and detail he put into his home. The amenities were wonderful, including a gorgeous living room, great sound system, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor wood burning chimney, BBQ, and bucolic tree-surrounded hot tub (which we loved). But the best part was Alex himself. What a nice guy! He welcomed us at check-in with delicious freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade ginger cookies later in our stay. He also gave us fantastic advice on things to do in the area. Overall, you’ll love this home nestled in the CT woods!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jordyn and Gabby’s place! As a full-time patient care provider and with my boyfriend’s demanding job, we were in desperate need of a peaceful and cozy retreat, and this place fit perfectly. The late-night movie setup was a perfect way unwind, the fire pit, soaking in jacuzzi under the moon- all led to this healing trip to be successful! One of the highlights of our trip was kayaking in the nearby waters—it was such a serene experience! We couldn’t have asked for a more personal and relaxing getaway. Our service dog, Loha, also felt right at home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you, Jordyn and Gabby, for creating such a beautiful space that truly allows guests to recharge and reconnect!

An absolutely wonderful stay! The surroundings were just stunning and the cabin was out of this world! Everything was clean and tidy, and it was clear that there was great attention to detail and thoughtfulness in putting this place together for their guests. We will be back!

This place is spectacular. Truly. The setting in this bucolic area of Connecticut is itself completely jaw-droppingly beautiful, and then to arrive in this luxurious cabin-home is really even more icing on the cake. Spacious, meticulously built and maintained, with lots of room to settle into. The hot tub was a joy to use, it’s such a rarity to have a wooden, hot tub in a rental, and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is top of the line, with everything that you could want, and my husband was immediately obsessed with the record player in the living room. Everything works as described, and Laura was an incredibly responsive host, even helping me to find a salon last minute to do my hair before a wedding! Definitely recommend this place hands-down.

Wonderful stay in a unique, creative, clean cabin with everything that you may need. Michael and Beth were friendly and responsive and we felt very welcome on their property. There are plenty of beautiful trails and hiking in the area.

This was my first time booking with AirBnB and it was a great experience. Kara's directions were on point and location was a very nice area. Home was clean and with all amenities listed. My husband, pups & I enjoyed the backyard .with a river that runs through. My husband enjoyed fishing. We went to a few parks/ponds. My pups enjoyed running through the grass. We will definitely be booking again with Kara.

My husband and I totally enjoyed staying at bungalow #3. It’s in a great location, short, walk to the beach and trails a lot of history in the area which we enjoy. Also, conveniently located to great restaurants in Clinton and the surrounding shore towns. Trish was a great hostess, and I would definitely rent again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending time on the porch — such a peaceful spot to unwind, with the soothing sounds of the river in the background. Our dog was in absolute heaven, running around the yard and lounging on the porch right along with us! Everything about the experience was seamless, from check-in to communication with the host. Second time staying at this cabin. Absolutely wonderful, peaceful and amazing place. Cozy and private cabin in a beautiful wooded area but super close to amenities and lots to do in the general area. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in Old Lyme. Thank you Keith!

I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs getaway escape right on the lake as pictured!! It was a great family bonding trip We enjoyed it all Very close (10 min drive) to Torrington for groceries restaurants or any necessities or activities outside of cabin

We had a great time at this house and would definitely rent again. The property is very private, but is still a short drive to area shops and restaurants. The screened-in deck was fantastic. We spent a lot more time there than we expected, because hammocks are relaxing. I was in the area for the races at Lime Rock Park, which was a quick fifteen minute drive away.
