The Ashford Lake cottage was absolutely perfect for our sister birthday weekend! The hot tub, fire pit, screened in porch, and dock all were perfect for catching up, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and everything was extremely clean. Jason was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can't recommend this cottage enough and hope to visit again in the future!

The house felt like coming home. Everything you need was provided. The location is beautiful as is the surrounding area. We needed proximity to family and this was a perfect spot. All the amenities in the home were available and perfect for a weeklong stay. Thank you for a great stay!

This was our second stay. The house is cute and comfortable. Nice outdoor space with a sandy beach area and shallow lake entry. Jena is great to work with.

We loved Laura and Dana’s Big Easy home by the beach. It was big and comfortable and every detail had been thought about to maximize our enjoyment. Drawers and closets and cabinets were all labeled so we didn’t have to search for anything or guess where anything was. Literally every need had been anticipated! Amazing. The beds and bedding and linens and towels were abundant and soft and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were awesome, from an air fryer, to a full set of bar tools and blender, to great appliances. The decor was happy and cheerful and creative and fun. There were so many places to sit and enjoy, both inside and out. Do not hesitate to choose this wonderful place for a visit of any length. You will love it!

Nice little getaway, very clean and comfortable. It is located behind a main home so not completely private but we had no issues, would stay again!

The house was very clean, with a beautiful, large, well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely and it was wonderful hanging out on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. The house would be a little more practical if one of the bedrooms had two beds, so more people could sleep in the actual bedrooms. The pull out beds were not as comfortable and the bed in the loft is only accessible with a ladder. However, for a small group or people who aren’t picky about their sleeping arrangements it is a fantastic place to stay. You can’t beat the view and proximity to the water!

I had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb beach house. The views were absolutely immaculate, turning every moment into a picture perfect scene. Every detail was thoughtfully curated from the comfortable bedding that guaranteed a night of uninterrupted sleep to the high quality toiletries that added a touch of luxury to my routine. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals whenever I wished, and the fast WiFi ensured that I could seamlessly blend work and leisure as needed. A true highlight was the friendly welcome with a customized snack basket that set a warm, personal tone right from the start. Additional amenities, such as a cozy fireplace perfect for evening gatherings, stylish decor that elevated the overall ambiance, and easy access to local attractions, truly made my stay unforgettable. I will be returning.

We very much enjoyed our time at the lake house. It was even nicer in person. Very clean and well stocked for many of our needs. It was a beautiful long weekend. Would not hesitate to reserve in the future.

Great place,very convenient for entire extended family to be in town for college graduation weekend. Very large and open common area and kitchen for gathering for meals and celebrating all together.

Had booked a girls getaway at Tracy and Patrick’s place and it was perfect, even with gloomy weather! The house perfectly matches all pictures and descriptions and has everything you’ll need and more for the perfect relaxing and fun getaway! We even got a cute surprise visit from their furry friends which is always loved!! There are also shops and beaches a short drive away, we just didn’t happen to go visit because we were enjoying our cozy time at the home. Thank you again Tracy and Patrick:) we would totally recommend and want to come back!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Allana’s house by the sea! When we had a small incident with the keypad, Allana was quick to answer my call and resolve the issue no problem. Everything was clean and beautiful! We especially enjoyed the screened in porch in the back to enjoy our meals. The view from the master bedroom and deck is incredible! We highly recommend and will be back!

Beautiful place and beautiful host Nicole and her husband were very attentive and communication was great. We had a minor inconvenience and Nicole work with us, we had an amazing time. Will definitely recommend!!! Thank you 😊

Perfect house with a beautiful view, super clean and all the amenities worked perfectly. Sim is a perfect host and the communication was always clear. Definitely thinking in coming back any time soon.

Mary’s zen studio was perfect for a long weekend attending a festival. Cozier than a hotel room and centrally located to great restaurants and shopping. If anyone is upstairs you can hear them walking around but definitely not a deal breaker. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll definitely seek out Mary’s place!

Peaceful and private! Clear of clutter and clean, nice white sheets (no scent), manicured landscaping and crystal clear pool. Pool is 4' deep all around which was perfect for our 5 and 10yr old kiddos. AC works great, ceiling fans nice to have for that fresh summer feeling. Hosts were wonderful communicators and very responsive. Things to know: driveway a bit tricky to find (for us and food delivery) but with the right instructions okay, the house is very private while still feeling like part of a neighborhood. Bring your own games, pool toys and books. Bring paper plates, cups and utensils to avoid handwashing dishes. Don't miss MiniGolf at Saybrook Point (beautifully maintained, great music and right on the water with beautiful views), Pizza Works (ask to sit upstairs if you have young kids), and Harkness Memorial Park (easy parking, beautiful beach and stunning gardens/architecture). Parthenon Diner has a great breakfast and atmosphere, and the kid pancakes are Mickey Mouse shaped!

We would definitely go back. The house is just like the picture. It’s classy and modern and yet so cozy and homely. There were small things like keeping a night light incase any one needed which I have never seen such great detail and thoughtfulness for the guests. The place is a walking distance from the water and is location in a quaint town. Lots to do around and it’s just simply perfect for a quick getaway. Carolyn is an exceptional host. She was very good with her communication, checked in on us from time to time.

Quiet neighborhood near the beach. After months of working 60+ hr weeks, it was just what I needed to reconnect with my family. Fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows. Next time we're bringing a kayak or something so we can go out on the water. So peaceful.

This was such a cozy and inviting space. I was so impressed by the little touches literally everywhere I looked. It made it feel so much like a home and instantly made us feel comfortable. I cannot say enough about the amenities. We brought a few things from home but we really didn’t need to. This place has everything you could think of then some- especially with regard to outdoor enjoyment and beach equipment. We traveled with 12 year olds and 14 year olds and if you have kids in that age range, you know they aren’t easy to please! I got no complaints about being bored, everyone was happy with their space, and they especially loved being able to take our dogs. The host was wonderful and offered suggestions or help when we needed it. We would absolutely go back.

We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary so we wanted to treat ourselves to a stay at a beach house and this choice did not disappoint. Our stay was amazing; all the stress melted away the second we walked in this home. The view was spectacular and I really wished I could have taken the view from the huge kitchen window home with me. Owners were very quick to respond to any of our questions. Water was very refreshing, not freezing cold like back home in MA. Bistro Mediterranean & Tapas Bar in East Haven was a hidden jewel. We went there several times because there were so many yummy choices (and the prices were very reasonable). There is a small airport nearby so it was really cool watching the planes glide over the house. It was very hard to leave our home away from home and we will definitely be renting again in the near future.

Catherine’s place was even better in person! It was perfect and just what we needed. She was easy to communicate with and so accommodating. The street is amazing with the water right there! I will stay here every time I’m in the area!

The beach house was a great place to be with our family. My boys loved going across the street to the beach. It was walkable to so many places, and short drive. Cozy space and awesome porch deck. Highly recommend staying here.
