A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Forestgrove is a Georgian House built circa 1840 set in a quiet street five minutes walk to Kelso town centre. This is a perfect base to explore the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. Guests will have the entire basement floor complete with bedroom with shower, separate lounge/living room and WC. Tea and coffee fresh milk facilities are provided free of charge .Couples with small baby or toddler welcome. There is a sofa bed available which will attract a £10 per stay surcharge for linen.

Rainbow Cottage, Craving Peace-look no further

Rainbow Cottage is sat on the banks of The River Tweed, it is so peaceful and tranquil. There is an abundance of birds that visit and we have a woodpecker who is a frequent visitor and quite special. The cottage is situated just a few mile from the Scottish Borders so is in an ideal spot to discover both the Borders and North Northumberland. Our bed is quirky and is a hideaway bed and our regulars love it. We have a conservatory for extra space which is super warm on sunny days.

The Black Triangle Cabin

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

Starling's Rest log cabin is tiny but mighty and packs some attractive features which include: - Functional kitchenette - Walk-in electric shower - Modernised double Scottish box-bed - Smart television - Wi-Fi - Wood burning stove - Coffee machine As well as its own enclosed garden area with outdoor seating. We welcome up to two well-behaved small dogs (or 1 medium to large sized dog), and there are some lovely walks for canines and their humans right on the doorstep.

We are within half an hour's drive from the beach and railway stations. You’ll love Stichill Stables because of the views and the peaceful location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers who have their car. We can also accommodate a child / third person if required. We are in a fairly rural location, the nearest shops, bars and restaurants being approximately four miles away in the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders.
