Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Clive

This little home was so perfect in every way. They had fun activities like board games and toys for kids. The kitchen was wonderful and had a few snacks in place, which was extremely thoughtful. We enjoyed the train going by (it wasn't very loud and passed by relatively quick). The bed was so comfy after a day of exploring Iowa! Overall, I really enjoyed our stay in Iowa. It felt like a like a perfect little home away from home. Now, I can't wait for us to come back to visit again!

Lovely Airbnb! Extra amenities, very clean, cutely decorated, comfortable functional furniture, deer walked up into the back yard area in the early morning hours, peaceful neighborhood, home is attached but completely private on a dead end street, covered front porch with comfortable wicker cushioned furniture, we loved it and would stay again if returning to the area. There were 4 adults and 1 toddler and we had ample room. Thank you again 😊 for a lovely stay.

Very cute place! We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, kid friendly. We did not have small children but noticed that were many amenities for kids (toys, dishes, fold away crib.).

Jake and Hannah were amazing hosts! Everything was very clean and there was everything we needed for our stay. So many great bars and restaurants close by! Easy uber ride to downtown if desired! Will definitely stay here again!

This was our second visit in May 15-22nd 2025 to Des Moines and we did not even think about any other place to stay other than Linda's home. Linda is so supportive and we are extremely happy and enjoyed our stay.

We stopped in Van Meter on our trip to Colorado and had a lovely stay. Summer was very responsive and attentive and met all our needs. The house was clean and very welcoming. It's obviously well-cared for and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. Her kitchen things were very organized and we loved the character of the house. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Thanks for such a great stay, Summer! We'd definitely stay again.

This was probably my best Airbnb experience thus far. The home was beautiful and extremely kid friendly with toys/baby gates/high chair and more. One other perk of the home is the bedrooms are on the other side of the house with a long hallway separating the kitchen and living room from them. This makes for a great place for kids to nap while the adults hang out without disturbing them. The house is extremely well kept, cozy, and will make you feel right at home. Also, if you have a question, just message the host and ask. She’s extremely friendly and responsive. If I ever come back to Des Moines and this place is available I will absolutely be staying again.

This location was incredible! A 5 minute drive from downtown. And the Airbnb itself was so nice, lots of beds and very comfortable! Very clean as well! Carl was an incredibly responsive host and even accommodated a late checkout which was very appreciated!!!

My daughter and I visited the Pella Tulip festival and wanted to extend our trip so we came here to see/hike the high trestle bridge & visit the arboretum. Renee’s place was great for our visit! Easy to find & get in, the place was super cozy and comfortable! Private outdoor space with the balcony was nice. The bathroom was clean and functional. The kitchen has everything we needed - a stove/oven with plenty of cookware, fridge & microwave, coffee maker, plenty of dishes. Beds were comfortable with good blankets and pillows. The only negative I found was that the keys were a little difficult to lock/unlock door. I would recommend and return!

Staying with Susie is now a yearly trip for us. She is an amazing host and you cannot beat the charm of the town. My daughter looks forward to this stay more than any other we take. Can’t recommend staying here enough.

Walking distance to Drake making it perfect for parents visiting for sporting events or for graduations.

We had a great 3-day sisters’ getaway at Dan’s loft in Des Moines this week. The apartment was clean, smelled great, and the beds were so comfortable. We appreciated Dan’s flexibility with our early arrival and fast pickup when we had an elevator question.. The location of Dan’s loft was great. Friendly residents in the building recommended the best places to eat. They were usually a 5-10 minute walk away. All-in-all, a great trip. WE’LL BE BACK!

The accommodations were top notch. Everything the hosts provide make it truly feel like home away from home. Very spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, great shower. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.
