Cabin vacation rentals in Clinton Lake

Loved this place! Great and spacious for my group of 7 friends, especially loved the hot tub! All the beds were very comfortable along with the seating out in the living room and we all felt very safe in the neighborhood. The only issue we had was that there were a lot of spiders and bugs we found around the place. Most were by doors and around the kitchen and living room, so not an issue with the rooms or beds. Other than the bugs I would highly recommend this place, super quiet area but still close to restaurants and downtown.

Shereen was very responsive and helpful!! The place looked like the photos. It is a little walk to the lake and you can’t see the lake from the house but it was still beautiful countryside. Very spacious and lots of yard space for games and being outside. Didn’t use the lake front as water was really high and you couldn’t walk out to the dock because of this. Not her fault of course just be aware if you are renting during a rainy time. Lots of sleeping spaces and great kitchen!! Would definitely consider renting again.

Sherry was one of the best hosts we have had. She was very quick to respond if we needed anything and was genuinely concerned that we had a wonderful stay. You couldn't ask for a better host. Everything was exactly as described and shown. This was the most well outfitted place we have ever stayed. We cooked our own meals outside on the grill and inside the kitchen, everything we needed or could want was there. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows perfect. The towels were new and soft as could be. If I had to describe the whole thing in a word, it would be quality. It is obvious Sherry has a high standard for herself. I would stay here if I had business in Topeka or Manhattan. It is a short drive to both but the peace and quiet here is worth every mile. It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We saw deer, turkeys, and a Bald Eagle so yes, you are in the country here but with good internet! We highly recommend it.

This place was SO peaceful and beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was just as described. Cindy was very responsive, friendly, and answered all questions that we had during our stay. If you’re looking to get away from the busyness of life, this is the perfect place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our family absolutely loved this AirBnB. It was so cute and fun to be in. My husband and I loved sitting on the porch after we put our kids to bed and we loved the tiny house vibe. My kids loved the ladders and we all enjoyed reading in the lofts. The bathroom was so much larger than expected and the kitchen was certainly functional. My daughter loved petting the cat and feeding the goats. The owners were super friendly and had the art of hosting down to a science. They were great at giving info in advance and were clear in their expectations. We were able to walk to Kauffman Stadium but there weren’t sidewalks. It wasn’t my favorite walk with my kiddos but it was certainly doable and we liked not paying $50 for parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. We had plenty to do, multiple areas to spread out as a group, but also nice areas to meet together. The kitchen/dining area provided us with a great spot to prepare meals for our group. We were very appreciative of the multiple bathrooms and roomin options. It was a great experience for us.

Lovely place to stay. The loft upstairs was very fun for the kids to sleep in. The hosts were very welcoming.

This was hands-down the best Airbnb we’ve ever rented. The lake house was beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly quiet; exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The dock and water toys (canoe, paddle board, kayak) looked pristine and so fun. We didn’t get the chance to use them this time, but definitely plan to next visit! the house was cozy, Beautiful, and peaceful. it had EVERYTHING to cook with. most places have awful pots and pans with awful utensils, this place did not. even the knives were sharp. we did not need for anything. The host was kind, sweet, and very responsive, and truly accommodating from start to finish. We loved everything about our stay and will absolutely be coming back at least once a year, if not more. Highly recommend!

We came for a quick weekend getaway. The location is very private and peaceful. The cabin was clean and stocked very well with towels and paper goods. We were very comfortable, the A/C works really well. The cabin has all appliances you may need, from kitchen to washer and dryer. The location is very convenient to Emporia and some great restaurants. Also if you choose to cook, they have everything you need. No need to leave if you don’t want to. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the nearby fields and forests. We also enjoyed going for walks nearby too!

This Grantville gem is a great get away. We would have loved to take advantage of the remote trails, screened in porch and quiet surroundings, but for us it was the perfect spot to group and re-group for our son's wedding in Topeka, just a short drive west. I would recommend this to anyone going near there, Mallory's communication is spot on. Thank you all for sharing your home.
