Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cilento Coast

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

Hemingway, rumored to have spent some time in Acciaroli, said of Italy, "Sometimes I think we only half live over here. The Italians live all the way." At Casa Speranza, I was afforded the quiet and space to access the the other half. The apartment was clean, simple, and walking distance to the Acciaroli beaches and the markets and cafes in town, and only a short drive (30-180 minutes) to some lovely walks and runs in Parco Nazionale del Cilento. Francesco and his mom and dad were very gracious hosts; check-in and parking was a breeze, and his mother Giovanna even went so far as to cook my partner and I acciuga in a red wine vinegar, garlic and mint as an unexpected surprise for lunch. We loved our stay here and would love to return!

L'appartamento pur piccolo ė fornito di tutto l'indispensabile caffè e vino bianco in frigo compresi. Marco ė stato gentilissimo e ci ha assistito e dato informazioni utili per il nostro soggiorno.

La casa di Melina è bella, curata, dotata di ogni comodità , e lei è estremamente gentile e disponibile. Inoltre il luogo è splendido e in mezz’ora si raggiungono i siti archeologici e naturalistici

Absolutely amazing place to be. waking up in the morning with the sun shining on your bed, seeing a beautiful mountain view from the window. And in the evening beautiful sunsets. Great beaches nearby, some hikes. Luca was very helpful and kind. I would very much like to come back once in the summertime.

Beautiful place to stay! Short driving distance to many historical towns and 3 min driving to the beach. Ocean views and very peaceful. Very clean and brand new small apartment. Giorgio and his wife were very kind and helpful during our stay! We changed some plans and decided to make another reservation to stay longer in their place because of the hospitality and the place.

L’alloggio ha una posizione ottima, è confortevole e molto pulito, munito di tutto l’occorrente per un soggiorno sereno immerso nel verde di ulivi secolari! Cosa più importante è stata la disponibilità di Gloria, che ci ha dato suggerimenti e consigli utilissimi per il nostro viaggio in Cilento! Consigliatissimo!

This is a beautiful house. Everything is quality and comfortable. Me and my father love the place. The host had prepare for us a nice breakfast and even accommodated my free gluten diet. If you pass by this area and need a place to stay I really recommend. Finally Wifi was fast and stable and parking is available on site.

Una casa nuovissima su 2 piani, zona giorno con cucina e ampio bagno e scalinata in legno con zona notte arredata bene e conforme alla descrizione e alle foto del sito di Airb&b. Grazie per il soggiorno e penso sinceramente di ritornarci. Very Good.

Federica was a lovely host, communicated well and constantly provided guidance and assistance throughout our stay when needed. The place was clean and tidy. The apartment was close to the port but when the doors are closed you can't hear anything and and sleep well. Lovely place to stay.

Alfonso was the lovliest host, and we feel so lucky to have grabbed up a weekend at his beautiful apartment! It's located in a beautiful 'village' feeling town, with friendly proprietors, musicians.. gorgeous food, drinks, shopping, and views! We can't recommend it highly enough!

What a place! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning – and to top it off, the host was so welcoming and friendly, offering great local recommendations. Giovanni was incredibly accommodating and even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. We had a fantastic time! Location-wise, it's excellent – close to the beach and other attractions. We had a lovely stay! The apartment was great, the view was breathtaking! The market is a 15 minute walk up hill but a wonderful walk back down hill! The bus is great, they left us 2 tickets which we used to go into Amalfi and it was a great experience to learn how to use the bus! They recommend a boat tour and helped arrange it, it was so magical, if you have the opportunity definitely do it!! We would be happy to go back in a heartbeat!

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Luciano. Je kunt heerlijk prive genieten en de omgeving is mooi rustig. Luciano is altijd bereikbaar en zeer gastvrij. Als leuke verrassing kregen we nog mozzarella en lekkere citroenen. Helaas konden we niet alles opeten. De locatie bevindt zich op een berg. Je hebt wel een auto nodig. Met de auto ben je in een paar minuten beneden en kan je naar het strand en lekker eten. Ook in de buurt is er van alles te doen. Het is ook fijn dat je je vooral tussen Italianen bevindt waardoor het niet zo toeristisch is. Geen enkel Nederlander ontmoet in onze week daar! Woordje Italiaans leren is wel handig.

Absolutely book this Airbnb, it’s even more stunning in person! Roberto’s place completely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. We were blown away from the moment we arrived and are already planning to return. The spacious terrace offers a breathtaking view, with plenty of seating to relax and soak it all in. It was so peaceful and serene: a place that made us want to stay in and enjoy the home. One afternoon, with the incredible backdrop of the terrace, my boyfriend proposed, it was magical and unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including an incredibly cozy bed. The location is ideal, just a short, scenic walk to the main square and its charming restaurants. We also found it easy to visit Amalfi and Minori from Ravello. Roberto is a wonderful host - warm, welcoming, and attentive. He arranged a private driver for us, greeted us at check-in, and offered local tips. He made us feel right at home. This Airbnb is a must!

Was such an amazing visit. The place is beautiful and was definitely the highlight of our trip. The host Giovanni was very kind to pick us up from the train station and gave us great recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would love the opportunity to come back some day!

Margherita’s condo is nothing short of a hidden gem in Salerno! Located in a secure location on a quiet side street, this place is very comfy and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay (however do be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs to access the condo!). We could’ve sat on the balcony for hours just marvelling at the breathtaking view of the mountains. Margherita and Francesca were wonderful hosts; always communicative and ready to help! Despite the language barrier between us, Margherita kindly took the time to meet us at the outside gate for check-in and showed us all that the place had to offer (including a tasting of her homemade limoncello!). It truly is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the Amalfi Coast. We are so grateful to Margherita and Francesca for taking such great care of us!! :)

Great stay in Salerno! The hosts were very communicative and made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. The apartment itself was modern, stylish, and felt quite luxurious. It’s in a convenient location—close to the beach, port, airport, and with great transport links nearby. However, even with the location, the apartment was still private and not too much noise pollution around. Plenty of amenities within walking distance, and the hosts even helped arrange our transfer to the airport. Would happily stay here again!

Federica was a welcoming host who responded quickly to messages and checked in with us during our stay. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday and the views from the terrace are amazing. We loved sitting there for breakfast and an evening drink. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. However please note that this is not an apartment for people with limited mobility. There are lots of stairs and it’s a steep walk back from town. For us it was a fabulous stay.

We hadden een prachtige vakantie bij Laura en Vito, de beste gastvrouw en gastheer die je je kan voorstellen. Nog vóór aankomst kreeg ik nuttige info over de regio. Bij aankomst werden we opgehaald aan de luchthaven van Salerno. We hadden direct een leuke babbel en in het appartement kregen we nog allerlei tips om de streek te ontdekken, ook op culinair vlak :-). Vito is steeds bereikbaar en reageert onmiddellijk op je bericht. In de buurt heb je een bakker, fruithandel, supermarkt, delicatessenzaak, heel goeie restaurants en bars. Het appartement is heel ruim en net met een prachtig zicht op de zee. Een auto heb je hier niet nodig. De bus brengt je naar het station en de veerdienst of een wandeling van een half uurtje kan uiteraard ook. Aangezien we nog niet alles gezien hebben van deze mooie streek gaan we zeker nog eens terug. Grazie mille Laura e Vito!

CONSIGLIATISSIMO Host gentilissima e sempre disponibile ad eventuali richieste, appartamento meraviglioso dotato di tutti i confort necessari per una permanenza ideale. Spazio casalingo ampio, dotato di ogni cosa ci servissem Dintorni dal sapore di casa, vista meravigliosa sul mare e borghi incastonati nella roccia che sembrano provenire da un film. Nelle vicinanze due supermercati, negozio di alimentari, bar, farmacia e guardia medica. Un soggiorno che rifaremo più che volentieri

Bellissimo weekend trascorso a S.Maria di Castellabate, gran merito dovuto alla scelta di questa casa scelta e del Sig. Fabrizio, persona cortese e molto disponibile. La casa è ad appena 150m dal mare e 50m dal corso principale, quindi posizione Top! Appena entrati la casa si presenta molto graziosa, pulita e confortevole. il Plus è il posto auto compreso a pochi metri da casa, ed in quella zona è davvero necessario. In pratica abbiamo posato l'auto all'arrivo e l'abbiamo presa al ritorno, spostandoci sempre piacevolmente a piedi. CI ritorneremo volentieri
