Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cascais

We had a lovely stay in Cascais. The house was clean and comfortable and in a very peaceful, safe and friendly neighbourhood with a private, pretty courtyard garden. It was just a short walk to the beach, marina and Cascais train station with plenty to do and lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. The train ride to Lisbon was just 35 minutes so a very easy day trip. The Lidl just a few hundred metres away was also perfect for getting anything you need - fresh produce, good quality and very good value. Mauricio was a great host, keeping in touch and helping out with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely house.

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

We really enjoyed staying in this quiet neighborhood. Overlooking the surroundings and the sea, the apartment has a great location for excursions to Sintra or Cabo da Roca.

Carlos was a great host the space is beautiful clean and spacious. the location is close to many beautiful areas. We stayed here because we were in town for a friends wedding and it was easily accessible to all the events in cascais and estoril. Carlos gave us lots of recommendations and the instructions for check in were very organized and easy to understand. Would definitely stay here again

Peaceful, cozy 3 level apartment just steps away from the beach walk! Tucked in on a quiet street, it was perfect for our family of 5. The host was very communicative and the apartment was spotless. You can walk to many beautiful and historic sites nearby along with plenty of local restaurants. We highly recommend Lumiere by the way! All in all this was the perfect location for our stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Cascais.

Stunning apartment, beautifully designed and furnished. Great location, in quiet street only a couple of minutes walk from beach, shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to train station for cheap and frequent trains to Lisbon. Luis was excellent, friendly and informative host

We loved everything about Teresa’s place in Cascais! We were 6 and could not be happier with our choice. The apartment is beautiful, the view is amazing, the location is fantastic and we felt very comfortable. Besides all that Teresa and Brian were perfect as hosts, very responsive, kind and proactive. We had a wonderful stay at Paula’s charming apartment in Cascais! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen well-stocked, and we loved having a drink on the balcony in the evenings. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach, the marina, and plenty of great restaurants and cafés on your doorstep. Cascais is a lovely town, and this Airbnb made it even better. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering great local recommendations. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax by the coast while still being close to Lisbon. We'd definitely come back!

Excellent apartment right in the heart of Cascais. We loved how accessible and close it is to everything…beaches, shops, amazing restaurants and beautiful scenery. Parking is a challenge if you have a car with you, so plan on parking further away and walking to the apartment. The apartment itself is so comfortable and has everything you need. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had amazing sleeps! Thanks for an unforgettable visit!

We had a great stay with our ten month old baby. The apartment is small but has everything you need and we enjoyed meals on the terrace. The area is very walkable with ocean, beach, parks, restaurants, cafes and mini markets all nearby. It has historic character and charm.

What a gorgeous spot!! We instantly felt right at home - Teresa was warm, welcoming and full of great suggestions and tips for our time in Cascais. There's so much to see and do in the area, plus an endless list of restaurants, bars and cafes. The apartment is an easy walk to town (and was necessary after enjoying sweet treats!), or if you're craving a home cooked meal and to curl up on the couch, you have the best of both worlds. We loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend this property - its truly lovely. Thanks for having us Teresa!

We stayed 11 days with our kids. Age 9.6.4.1. The baby was in our room with the crib and the 3 in the other bedroom. Worked out great. Large entertainment room. The kids loved the Lego (I’m sure it will be found by future guests in random spots). We loved walking from our place to the coast. Close to good grocery stores. Lots of park days. Pool was amazing. Great for my 1 year old to scoot around the shallow part.

Daniel was an amazing host with a gorgeous apartment He could not have been more helpful giving us lots of information about the area, restaurants and advising us that UBER was the best way to get around which proved very successful for us We had a problem with the taxi driver from the airport who tried to rip us off and Daniel was there to sort out the correct fare which really helped us. He responded very quickly to a question we had so it was a great experience

Maria was the best host and offered exceptional hospitality during check-in with an infant. The place was walking distance to a nearby center with food and 20 minutes from the main center that home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Sunny, comfortable and well-maintained condo with all the amenities needed. Very well-stocked kitchen (plenty of dishes, wine glasses, cooking ware, etc.). Very close (short walking distance) to many restaurants in the touristic centro, including more local flavor restaurants (just a few blocks further, but so worth it!). The train station just down the street is also a big plus - 30 minute ride to Lisbon enjoying the scenery while avoiding the heavy traffic. A good base for visiting the area of Lisbon (Sintra for instance). Rui was a very responsive and proactive host. Great communication!

This is a stunning & spacious apartment. Set on a quiet, picturesque street, it is perfectly placed to walk into Cascais to access all the buzz of the local shops, restaurants & bars as well as the fabulous sandy beaches & marina. There are three good sized bedrooms, with lots of storage space, two bathrooms & an amazing sun deck/balcony for al fresco dining. The open plan living/kitchen/dining area is clean , comfortable & very well equipped. João was a most helpful & responsive host . We will definitely be back.

Loved staying at this apartment. I had everything I needed and the location is perfect. Cascais is one of my favourite areas to stay and walk around, especially around sunset. Juliana was lovely and very responsive. I will definitely be coming back again.
