The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Steve's Place is a one of a kind rustic cabin sitting on 33 acres just 10 minutes from the Buffalo National River at Ponca and 3 Miles from the Compton Trailhead. The cabin provides all the amenities of home with seclusion and views of these beautiful Ozark Mountains. This Cabin has one bedroom and a loft with with queen size beds. This rustic cabin is approx 3500 sq ft situated on 40 acres in Newton County off of Scenic 7 Byway. Bordering the Ozark National Forest, the property has a small pond, approximately 2 acres of park-like grounds around the cabin, and several ATV trails. Nearby, canoe the Buffalo River, explore multiple waterfalls, hike Pedestal Rocks Scenic Area, swim at Falling Water Falls, ride your ATV on miles of forest trails and backroads, and visit scenic towns of Jasper, Harrison, and Marshall.
