Lake Selenter with the best swimming quality borders directly on the village and the Baltic Sea can be reached quickly by car.

Söhren in the municipality of Weede is quiet but central. It is about 10 km to Bad Segeberg, 25 km to Lübeck and about 30 km to the Baltic Sea.
