We really enjoyed Asa's place. It was very clean and had everything you would need: dishes, utensils, a book with detailed instructions on every major appliance in the house. Asa responded quickly to our queries and was very nice over messages, we did not see each other face to face. We would love to be back some day 🙂

The location of the house makes the views from the living room, the kitchen and bedrooms really spectacular and unforgettable. You love sitting and sipping morning coffee there, however there is so much to do and see in Iceland that you also don't want to sit there for too long :)) There is a nice Icelandic swimming pool, a few cute restaurants, fabulous walking paths and two supermarkets within a walking distance from the house. It's worth to mention that the house has all the equipment you need. Well, unless you need a washing machine or a dishwasher.. It's an old style house but makes really a pleasant stay.

We loved this guest house on a beautiful farm. Best driving directions, including photos, made it easy to find. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub after our long days hiking and exploring. Friendly dogs would greet us with a ball to throw when we got home and we enjoyed watching the ponies from the hot tub. Would definitely love to come back and stay here again!

As an American family on vacation far away, we were delighted to find this peaceful beautiful home. You can tell that the owner has put their heart into everything. Just beautiful! I slept like 12 hours. It was so quiet, comfortable, and dark. Wonderful. Recommend. 5 stars!

Wir hatten zu viert einen schönen Aufenthalt in Kristinns hübschem Haus. Super war der HotPot hinter dem Haus mit Blick in die schneebedeckten Bergey Die Kommunikation mit Kristinn verlief problemlos. Nur die Navigation mit den Koordinaten hat nicht so geklappt. Nach einem Telefonat war das Problem schnell gelöst.

The hottub is fantastic. The greenhouse is awesome and really worth a visit.

Gauti’s house is in a beautiful location. The views from the house were stunning! The house is only 10 minutes to town for groceries and the bakery. It was well stocked for cooking and very comfortable. The communication from the host was proactive, including several great recommendations close by.

Stayed in the ground floor of a 2 level villa. Although it is not new, or quite old fashioned, but it is not run down. Beds are of Icelandic standard and comfortable. The only thing that can improve is the barely useful window shades when there is almost no night time. Eye mask is a must. Can’t complain at this price.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great stop in our ring road trip. The view is amazing!

A modern, comfortable and stylish apartment. Well stocked with lots of amenities. Some minor issues with certain appliances not functioning properly but that did not impede our ability to use the kitchen, which was extremely well equipt for making meals. A great location and choice in Borgarnes.

This was a fantastic little place to stay as we neared the end of our 10 day ring road journey! We checked in 30mins after the cafe closed but they still made us a full dinner and helped take it up to our room. The young woman who checked us in was responsive, helpful, and kind. The extra 10% discount at the cafe was also great! Everything was as described and it felt very homey.

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars, I would. My mother and I have been traveling the ring road for the past 10 days and Halldor’s Airbnb has been our favorite so far. The unit was clean, roomy, and very bright and airy. The best part about the Airbnb was the surroundings…. You are allowed to walk about and even interact with the horses if you wish, which was awesome! I LOVED being able to walk over to the horses and feed them some bread and give them a little pat on the nose. It really made my day. Halldor left a great house instruction manual that gave you all the information you need to know. If you are looking for a place to stay along the ring road, look no further!

Die Unterkunft lag super zum Husafell Activity Center. Die Unterkunft war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Umgebung war ruhig und wir haben gut geschlafen. Der Check in im Restaurant war äußerst unkompliziert. Wir können die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen!
