This place was great. Extremely private and was a great base for exploring the peninsula. I had just a few questions and the responses came right away. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The peaceful and quiet surroundings were absolutely beautiful. After a long drive and a hike, we were able to fully relax and unwind in the pre-heated natural hot tub such a perfect touch! Everything was well-prepared and comfortable. I would definitely love to stay here again next time!

A great log cabin in the middle of nowhere with an excellent hot tub. We only stayed for a night and loved how well the space was used inside the cabin with all possible amenities catered to. Sadly, we didn't see the Northern lights when we were there but would come back again at the next chance.

Fabulous place with breath-taking views of the mountains, short stroll to a peaceful lake, soothing mineral water in the hot tub, and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for a 2 or 3 family visit, with toys and books for kids. A great home base for exploring Iceland. Ragnhildur and Astridur are gracious hosts.

This lovely summer home is in an amazing location with rugged mountains right behind the house. We enjoyed exploring this area, and loved all the birds in the area. The house and kitchen were well equipped. The porch on the table was a nice place to enjoy a late breakfast. The house was just right for our family for our explorations of the Snaefellness peninsula.

The house is situated at an altitude with beautiful views and is surrounded by land with relatively many birds. Many places on Snaefellsnes are easy to reach. The last kilometers to the house are unpaved, but a 4x4 is not necessary. There is a good bed that just fits in the bedroom, the equipment is more than sufficient. The wifi details on the Airbnb site were not accurate but were in the guest font, so that was quickly resolved.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

We booked the place for our assembly. Booking was as simple and straightforward as always. Excellent, clean place as shown in the pictures. We were very satisfied again and would book the Airbnb again at any time! 5 out of 5 stars!

We enjoyed our brief stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is beautiful, well stocked with lots of extras like olive oil, cooking spices and condiments. The large deck was perfect for star gazing and the hot tub was an excellent place to relax at the end of a long day hiking. We loved it.

Good house for 9 people. Very clean

We spent two nights at the cabin. It exceeded all our expectations. The house has all the equipment described. The hot tub made a difference. In the middle of nature, well kept and clean. The host is communicative and polite. We would repeat.

Fantastic cabin for some much-needed privacy :-) was a great homebase for us for many excursions! Would be perfect for a family with little ones :-)

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay on this horse farm; the cabin was comfortable, clean, and we were very pleased that the kitchenette was adequately equipped for us to prepare and enjoy more complex dinners. This property was our last reservation after completing the Ring Road tour in perfect sunny, dry weather for May, so we were ready to sit on the sunny porch, or chill with the horses for entertainment when the wind and rain showed up. The location is perfect as a base for day trips. I do suggest that at this time of year come prepared with a sleeping mask as it never really gets dark.

The cabin is homey, with lots of nice touches. There are multiple windows looking out onto a gorgeous views of the mountains in the distance. It was an ideal spot for our stay in Iceland.

We loved Rebecca’s place - really warm and welcoming as soon as you step inside and the views are amazing. It was snowing when we arrived and it snowed heavily overnight, so we were glad of our wee 4x4 with its snow tyres, when we eventually ventured out for food and provisions. The road to the cottage is very challenging in the snow and ice. The cottage itself is well equipped and very comfortable - we both slept really well. All in all, we highly recommend Rebecca’s place - we spent a lot more time there than we do in most airbnbs due to the weather - it’s a lovely place to relax.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for one night, beautiful private cabin overlooking the water. Instructions were clear, had no trouble finding the place or getting inside, and cabin was very clean.

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at this beautiful cabin in Borganes! It was a great location for us to be able to spend a full day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula! The cabin was very clean and cozy and the host was very welcoming! They had a lot of recommendations for the area that was much appreciated. We would recommend this cabin to other travelers!
