Apartment vacation rentals in Borgarbyggð

Stayed in the ground floor of a 2 level villa. Although it is not new, or quite old fashioned, but it is not run down. Beds are of Icelandic standard and comfortable. The only thing that can improve is the barely useful window shades when there is almost no night time. Eye mask is a must. Can’t complain at this price.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The guesthouse was very cozy and comfortable! Everything was clean and the beds were very comfy. Being able to walk around and enjoy the grounds this morning gave us a great start to our day. We could not have asked for a better host or stay!

A modern, comfortable and stylish apartment. Well stocked with lots of amenities. Some minor issues with certain appliances not functioning properly but that did not impede our ability to use the kitchen, which was extremely well equipt for making meals. A great location and choice in Borgarnes.

The place was great for the Husafell Activity Center. The place was clean and modernly furnished. The surroundings were quiet and we slept well. Check-in at the restaurant was extremely straightforward. We recommend the place without restrictions!

This was a fantastic little place to stay as we neared the end of our 10 day ring road journey! We checked in 30mins after the cafe closed but they still made us a full dinner and helped take it up to our room. The young woman who checked us in was responsive, helpful, and kind. The extra 10% discount at the cafe was also great! Everything was as described and it felt very homey.

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars, I would. My mother and I have been traveling the ring road for the past 10 days and Halldor’s Airbnb has been our favorite so far. The unit was clean, roomy, and very bright and airy. The best part about the Airbnb was the surroundings…. You are allowed to walk about and even interact with the horses if you wish, which was awesome! I LOVED being able to walk over to the horses and feed them some bread and give them a little pat on the nose. It really made my day. Halldor left a great house instruction manual that gave you all the information you need to know. If you are looking for a place to stay along the ring road, look no further!
