By the famous lakeshore surrounded by nature and close to multiple known cities, including Perugia and Cortona. The host is a very friendly welcoming person and always responsive. A highly recommended place with a very special remarkable experience.

Spotlessly clean and tidy cottage and garden in a lovely, quiet and beautiful area. Fabulously clean and sparkly swimming pool. Eleanor, our host was friendly, helpful and very responsive, and made good suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The food at Ripetta restaurant in Gradoli was excellent. Definitely a place we would be happy to return to.

Like many others have said the pictures do not describe how lovely this home is. We had planned to go to Rome for 2 days but we enjoyed our time in Bolsena so much that we extended our trip. We love the area and hope to visit again, it truly was exactly the vacation we hoped for! Thank you!

It's a pleasure to meet serious people and this gives the app value. The beach house is a paradise in Italy. Easy access, attention to detail, peace, nature, comfort. Our trip was as a family with our two poodles and I think they were the ones who enjoyed the property the most, seeing them run and jump through the green areas of the property and live with many birds, rabbits is priceless. Our daughter enjoyed her stay studying and with the peace and quiet of the place, it was easy for her to concentrate. We, on the other hand, did some sightseeing in the area, everything is very close and well connected by road. It is a very well-kept, safe property and above all, enjoying its sunset, sitting on a lounger, enjoying a good wine (from the area) is an unrepeatable experience. Thank you Maurizio.

We had the pleasure of staying at the house in Tiro and it was a great experience. The first night the gas tank ran out, not only did Giuseppe rush over to replace it, but he also gave us a bottle of wine to apologize for the inconvenience. What can we say? We think we couldn't have found a better host.

Sabrina was the perfect host. Her home was wonderful and comfortable. Exactly as described. The location and views of the surrounding hills was spectacular. Amazing sunset! Her recommendation for us to eat at Al Pozzo Etrusco Ristorante was spot on. We used her name and the restaurant made us a reservation to eat. More than country-house you should call country-home because that's the effect you have when you stay there. The swimming pool is really large and very clean and essential when returning from the long visits of the wonderful villages that are around there. But even more than the pool, what we loved is the house itself, with a beautiful garden, a patio where you can dine and do many readings, all taken care of in many details and with great taste by the owner. Being a rustic countryside, the house was really cool even for a very hot week in August. Great location to visit both Umbria and Tuscany. We'll be back.

The apartment is very nice, clean, well-equipped, and located in the centre of Montepulciano (with possibilities to have breakfast nearby). We would definitely recommend it!

This is a beautiful apartment with lots of space and nice touches. It was perfect for my family of 3! It is located in a very nice area - a short and easy walk to both the lake and to the center of town. Renato was such a kind host! We were very late leaving Rome (delayed luggage and car rental issues) but he was very patient and understanding of our late night arrival. He even had things to make sandwiches as well as milk for our young child ready so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Very very sweet! We would love to come back sometime!

This is a magical and extremely romantic place. We stayed at the cottage for three nights and it was a wonderful long weekend. Ideal for couples but also for families since there are many meadows in the surroundings where you can picnic or play with children. Roberto was extremely helpful and kind, most likely we will be back in the future. Highly recommended

The Lakehouse is even better than the pictures, it’s a perfect place to relax or as a base to explore the local area. The villa also has kayaks and paddle boards to explore the lake. The hosts David and Chrissie are the most accommodating organised people I have come across on air bnb. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place - 1000 characters are too few to describe everything! The apartments are arranged in a way that no one disturbs each other. All around, there's silence and tranquility. The house is an excellent base for both longer and shorter trips. The pool on hot days allowed us to catch our breath after sightseeing. The kitchen is decently equipped. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and their professionalism is evident. We felt taken care of every day. The complete set of information received before arrival made planning our stay much easier. Plus, we had good ongoing communication. All of Sabina's recommendations were useful for us. If they organize a walk around the area, we definitely recommend participating 😊 Not far from the house is a well-stocked Gala grocery store. In the town of Tavernelle, you can find great ice cream and a pastry shop, and on selected days, you can buy vegetables at the market. After these holidays, Umbria has gained a special place in our hearts.

Everything starting from location, peacefulness, amenities etc - were just perfect. You do need a car to get arround. the house has all you might need, Andrea is very helpful host.

The property is really in a super quiet location right on the lake. With a huge garden, this is the perfect spot to relax. The house is beautifully rustic and well-equipped. Price / performance is really great here!

Diederik and Martine are very pleasant hosts! No question is too much for them and you will reply very quickly The cottage is located in a nature reserve where it is quiet and quiet. If you would like to visit cafes or bars in the evening, you have to take the car because there is little to do in the immediate vicinity. However, you can drive up the mountain a little higher and eat something good at La Baita di Montarale. The Italian operators are perfectly friendly. Recommended! In the house, all comforts are available: gas fire,dishwasher,fridge with freezer compartment, shower,bath,bedding,even soap and shampoo! Outside you can use the BBQ, the cozy seating area and not to forget the swimming pool. Someone comes by for maintenance on a weekly basis. Nature reserve so also quite a few animals and pebble animals (insects). Every day we spotted scorpions (which also showed up indoors), which was a bit of a scare at first, but in the end they get used to it...they are innocent and helpful. We enjoyed at least our holiday at Casa Lavanda!!

Lucia is an incredibly caring host, and Pam, who looked after our stay, was a real treasure. She not only provided excellent recommendations on places to visit but also took care of reservations, ensuring we had nothing to worry about. This was not just an ordinary stay; it was a unique experience. We had the opportunity to participate in an olive oil tasting and a cooking class—both activities left an indelible impression. The villa we stayed in was not only stunningly beautiful but also boasted an impressive wine cellar with an extraordinary collection. Overall, our stay at Fontanaro villa exceeded all expectations. It was more than just accommodation—it was an experience we will never forget.
