Our cozy guesthouse with sauna is located on an island on the Leidsche Vaart near the Braassemermeer. You will find us between Amsterdam (approx. 30 minutes, car), Schiphol (approx. 20 minutes, car and 30 minutes, bus) and The Hague (approx. 35 minutes, car) in the Groene Hart. Many possibilities for cycling, walking (located on the Marskramerpad), varen, cities and/or beaches (25 minutes) to visit. Private bathroom with sauna (10,-), coffee/ tea and possibility of cooking, private terrace with barbecue.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Welkom in onze recent (juli 2025) verbouwde Studio met een prachtige nieuwe Hotel Chique badkamer! Studio Drees; de perfecte combinatie van luxe en privacy. Het zonnige sfeervolle 1-kamerappartement ligt aan de rand van een rustige woonwijk, tegen de duinen bij Katwijk aan Zee. Met 5 minuten lopen ben je in de duinen. Slechts 12 minuten lopen naar het strand, de boulevard en het winkelcentrum. Met 4 minuten gratis fietsen ben je al bij de Space Expo/de Estec.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

The studio is just 20 meters from the Spaarne river. The Droste Boulevard is a car-free zone and located on the former premises of the famous Droste Chocolate Factory. Behind the studio there is free parking. The studio has a private entrance, private shower and toilet and one room with a kingsize bed and an extra sleeping couch for 2 persons. (max 4 persons) ideal for families. Also there is a kitchenette with everything to prepare an easy meal or breakfast.

Stay in our former coach house

Near the center of Leiden, we have renovated a charming early 19th-century coach house for temporary rental. You’ll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside, while still being close to all the amenities of a vibrant city. Simple (non-electric) bicycles are available to rent for €2.50 per day—perfect for trips into the city. For longer distances, we offer 2 to 3 electric bikes at €25 per day per bike

Studio at alpacafarm (AlpaCasa)

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek, Bloem and Saar and mini donkeys Bram and Smoky who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.
