Vacation rentals with lake access in Blue Mountain Beach

We had an amazing time! We were in town for a wedding. Location was convenient to everything. We felt right at home. Exactly as described. Golf cart was added bonus as we were able to find time for the beach and pool and it made it so easy! Thank you for sharing your beach getaway with us! We had a great stay in Santa Rosa Beach. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The quiet neighborhood was perfect for relaxing, and the community pool was a nice bonus. The beach was about a 15-minute walk or a quick 2-minute drive, and the location was close to great restaurants and local spots. Alan was an outstanding host—responsive, thoughtful, and checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay. We’d definitely return!

We stayed at the Aqua Live Under the Sea home and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect just a short walk to a quiet, private beach with soft white sand and stunning views. The home was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for our family. The beds were comfortable, and there were more than enough towels and walk-in showers to keep things convenient. Everything felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. This was a great spot for a peaceful family vacation.

We have stayed at a handful of Airbnbs along 30A from Rosemary Beach to Seaside, but this is by far our favorite. Located just a short hop from 30A, this property is a cozy, quiet retreat that’s on Eastern Lake. The property was easy to access. Very clean and well maintained. It has a modern, fresh appearance on the inside, while still feeling very welcoming. We had no issues in our stay. The beds were comfortable, the showers and bathrooms were perfect, the kitchen had enough space for us to cook some small meals for our toddler. The host left us a gift in the fridge which was a nice touch. There is a spacious outside screened in deck, a dock on the lake, a couple of paddle boards, and a golf cart. Only short trip to beach access and some local restaurants. Our host was very friendly and timely with responses, giving clear instructions, help when needed, as well as local recommendations. We will be happy to return to this property again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and the home itself was great. The only difficult part is not due to this host, but the state of FL allowing so little public beach space. It was literally a 30 foot wide area on the beach that was considered to be Public, Disappointing.

This was such a perfect spot for our family of 3. We kayaked and paddle boarded to the beach where our 4 year old could swim in the area where the lake met the ocean. On the days we walked, it was such an easy and peaceful walk to the access point at the end of the street. Everything was super comfortable and the screened in porch and dock were great to unwind. Also the fire pit with Adirondack chairs looking at the lake was 🤌. A++++++ for papa’s hideaway!

This home was really nice. It was very clean and spacious located in a peaceful neighborhood, allowing for a relaxing vacation with my family. Lana was also easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again whenever I decide to take another trip to this area.

We traveled to the Destin area for a very quick visit and didn’t have much time to spend at Bonnie and David’s home but we would definitely book with them again. The apartment was extremely clean and inviting. The home is conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants and shops but tucked away on a quiet and private lot away from the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic and over populated tourist spots. We really felt like we were at home. The only problem we had was finding the driveway, because it was very late when we arrived and very dark. The GPS showed the location of the home right in the middle of the street and in front of the school. We eventually found the drive and made it home! We would definitely recommend Bonnie and David as your next host. I noticed they have several homes and I’m sure all of them are just as nice! Thank you.

The place was very beautiful looked better in person than the pictures… lots of pots, pans, and plates for those cooking.. LOTs of beach toys, house was very comfortable, comfy bed and couches

After reading all the other reviews - I couldn't agree more! It wasn't just the place that made this airbnb special, it was the hosts Rick and Sylvia. We typically like to be left alone when at a place, but Rick and Sylvia were both so welcoming, helpful and entertaining that I wouldn't have it any other way! We absolutely loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back again.

Great place to stay right in the middle of lots of things to do. I will say the one thing not communicated in the listing is that the bathroom is Jack and Jill style and connect the 2 rooms together. But the place is great, in a safe area, had many pools, the beach is close, and is well worth the price.

This was our first time staying at this location, and we would absolutely book this unit again. Everything was clean and the location to the beach and great restaurants was perfect. We loved having the bikes to ride to the beach, and to nearby restaurants and coffee shops.

Very quaint and clean place! Kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything you could need and the bed was super comfortable! We were able to check in early as well, as the host was very accommodating for an early check in since it was available. This is located right in the heart of Destin, so everything was within 5-10 minutes of our stay. Will definitely look forward to future stays here!

Host was very responsive and friendly. The place had everything imaginable to be able to cook for our family. Patio space was great to have another family staying in PCB over to grill out and sit outside to eat and enjoy the weather and company. We really enjoyed our stay! Easy walking to the private beach access. Chairs and beach cart available were super helpful! Kids loved walking to mini golf, carts, and Alvin’s too!

Great stay. Master bedroom bed was comfy and the bedding was soft. Slept like a baby. Lots of floor mats all around which is a beach necessity to keep sand out and comfy in. Rain shower head was a treat and the water pressure was great. Shower curtain was a little pink around the bottom indicating a need to be washed or bleached. Not a big deal and my eyes were closed enjoying the rain head shower anyway. Guest bed wasn’t quite as comfy as the master, but my daughter didn’t have any trouble sleeping in each day. Black out window coverings would be a nice addition as it gets bright early at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked, but the only we used during our stay was the fridge and mw. Checkout duties were normal start the dw and washing machine before you leave. Nothing ridiculous. Wife mentioned that the kitchen cabinets and stove front could use a deep clean. We did have guests in the attached apt. During our stay in the main unit. I could hear them pretty clearly through the walls.

Lauren’s place was good. Their cleaners did not show up between the people checking out the morning we checked in. Lauren offered some solutions and it was taken care of. She reimbursed our cleaning fee and was finding a new cleaner to use. We had an issue with the clothes dryer not drying well and she sent a guy out the next day to fix it. Overall place was as described cute place nice walking distance to a nice part of the beach. I would say it’s in the more quiet part of PCB which having kids with us is a plus. I would stay there again. Just a few minute drive to pier park and close to gas stations and dollar general. Overall good location and nice place. Also the back yard area is great for people with small dogs very private and super cute with the Astro turf and seating.

We rented this home for a softball tournament that was being played at Frank Brown Park. The house is super close to the park and to Pier Park for shopping. We were not able to enjoy the beach but the access is only a few minutes drive from the house. The neighborhood is golf cart friendly and very quiet. The fenced in yard was wonderful for our dogs. The house is super cute and clean. There were 3 of us and 2 dogs and we were very comfortable. The beds and furniture are comfy and clean. Cassandra is a very responsive host. Thank you for letting us use your home, we will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here! The community is awesome, and the location couldn’t be better. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the setup—nothing was overlooked. The beds were super comfortable, beach towels were provided, and everything felt easy and welcoming. We have three young kids, and they were so comfortable and happy here. We’ll definitely be back!

This has been the BEST airbnb I've stayed at so far. Will definitely be getting this place again on my next visit to Panama city.

Had the best time here! Beautiful marsh area and so fun to explore with canoe and kayak. Such a peaceful and relaxing space.

Lovely home and location especially for a family with children! Has everything you need at the house and lots of things to do in the surrounding area. It didn’t feel like a typical AirBnB with most basic amenities possible, it was truly nearly as comfortable as our own home. Thanks for having us!
