-the cottage is exactly like what is shown in the pictures. - it is first time for me to stay in this kind of cottage, its a bit historic and interesting -the different rooms are on different floors, so expect flights of stairs, it is also communicated, so fine with us. -the location is between two towns (st leonard and hasting old town), it is easy walk to Hasting old town -the place is lovely, I would recommend it

Gorgeous gorgeous. Such a beautiful Property with so much character . It’s full of wonderful ornaments , books and furniture ! Kitchen is so well equipped and the upstairs is surprisingly spacious!! It was in the perfect location for our trip and there is a handy shop , pharmacy etc. loved our stay! Thank you

We had a wonderful family stay of three generations together for a long weekend. The house was perfect and if anything bigger than I expected . Extremely well provided with everything you could possibly need. The check- in was easy with some very nice touches to make us feel welcome. The house was beautiful and tastefully appointed, the beds were all comfortable and linen etc. spotless and all of good quality. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and perfect for us. My husband and sons found good mountain biking routes and the rest of us lovley bluebell walks recommended by Katie straight from the house. The nearest town of Battle was only a 15min. drive away and Hastings about 40 min. Katie was very responsive to any problems or questions we had. We hope to come again some time. Selma and family

Really enjoyed our couple of days away, shame the weather wasn’t better but the house is a great place to hang out and relax. Even on a rainy day it was light and airy. The garden and surrounding countryside is beautiful with wonderful views. Beds and bedding all very comfortable and easy parking. I’m looking forward to returning!

We had a lovely stay at Sarah’s place. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and located in a peaceful area. Communication was easy and prompt throughout. Sarah was a great host ,welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

We know Coghurst hall holiday park very well having owned our own home on the park in previous years and so it was lovely to visit again. Jhenefhen’s holiday home did not disappoint. It has a great location on the park being right next to the lake whilst still being close to the clubhouse. The home has a spacious feel to it , very comfortable and I believe , considering all the above, was value for money. We will definitely visit again.

We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

We (2 friends and our babies - 16 and 10 months old) had a fantastic 2 night stay in Justine's place..its definitely the best location in the park and the views are stunning! I loved giving my son his breakfast with sheep and lambs in the background! The mobile home was clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated having milk, juice, bread, butter and eggs waiting for us - much needed for a cup of tea when we arrived! Although there is plenty to do on site, we spent most of our time on the lovely sandy beach and at Port Lympne Safari Park. Hopefully I/wewill return one day as its a great base to explore some lovely areas. Thanks Justine!

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

We loved our stay in this immaculately converted barn. It is huge, plenty space inside for when it was raining. The pond and the jacuzzi were a real treat, and the games room was used by everybody. We loved our barbecues outside, overlooking the valley, listening to the chickens. And we couldn't believe we had breakfast with still-warm-from-just-having-been-laid eggs! We would have loved a dryer or a bigger outside drying rack for all our wet stuff, as we had a toddler with us, but that didn't spoil our fun. We will recommend this beautiful place to our friends!

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

We had a wonderful time staying in Shirley’s caravan. The holiday park is well-maintained, and it was quiet and relaxing throughout our stay. Everything matched the description perfectly. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, and conditioner. The living room is spacious and comfortable, with a great selection of books and board games—perfect for quality family time. One of the best parts was the location: the beach is just a short walk away. Overall, it was a lovely and stress-free getaway. p.s. This was a wonderful place to stay and explore. The garden was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated by all guests of two and four legs. Wonderfully clean, bright and spacious rooms. We had a wonderful time and are very grateful for the stay. We will definitely be back!

A lovely, well equipped and beautifully appointed cottage, just on the edge of Hastings, within easy reach of the sea and the wonderful array of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. A great spot for a weekend escape with friends.

I will start by saying that this is the most beautiful air b&b we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the moment you pull into the driveway you are greeted by breathtaking scenery, accompanied by a friendly family of geese going about their day. The cabin was extremely clean, well stocked with complimentary snacks & beverages. There was so much to do at this cabin that we didn’t feel the need to leave at all. We spent most of our weekend canoeing on the lake with our eldest child which was lovely and serene, but star of the show for my children was the newly added rope swing which provided hours of fun outside. Whilst the kids slept we had the chance to enjoy a dip in the hot tub which was lovely. The beds were large and comfortable, so easy to fall asleep on. Followed by waking up to the view of the lake, and the sound of bird song was truly a dream. We could not have asked for more, the cherry on top was how friendly the hosts are, who allowed us a peaceful stay. Thanks

My friend and I absolutely loved staying here, and we only wish we had more time. We 100% will come back again when we need another retreat. It was beautiful to switch off from society, and unwind with the beautiful sounds of nature. Loved watching the fish, and the ducks! Miss it already. Thank you!

We highly recommended this lovely apartment. Corina was always responsive and helpful. We definitely would like to come again. The only small thing could improve is having some blackouts curtains the room with the sofa bed got the sunlight in the evening and in the morning a bit difficult to put kids to sleep without blackout. But we still enjoyed everything.. thank you!

Wanted somewhere we could have our little rescue doggo with us. The place was beautiful, light and sunshine poured in from the big windows, it felt spacious and airy. Romy was there to answer any questions and help with any issues we had. The private walks literally on the doorstep were amazing. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!
