Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

We loved our time in the Jasmine Cottage! After 5 busy days sight seeing in London, this was the perfect place to stay with our 8 and 5 year old sons to just relax and enjoy a slower paced few days. A 1 minute walk (at most) to the town shops, restaurant, and water. Everything looked exactly like the photos, the host was extremely responsive and helpful, and the location could not have been better. We already miss it and will look back fondly on our time at Jasmine Cottage for many years to come!

Karen and Steve were fantastic hosts, they were flexible with both check in and check out times for our stay, which made the move in and out much easier on our cat Simba. The place itself is beautiful, a real home-from-home with modern amenities, a peaceful and spacious living area and everything we needed for our two week stay. They even offered a bedding change after the first week if needed. We would be very happy to stay here again, and would have stayed for longer if it were available

Adam was the perfect host, going the extra yard to make me feel at home: beers in the fridge, eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice too. His instructions were clear and helpful and his modern house felt homely and relaxing from the moment I entered - super convenient too for working at Royal Ascot which was only a 15 minute drive away. I would stay again without a moment’s hesitation. Thank you Adam.

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn to celebrate two special family birthdays. It was even better than the photos, which is not always the case, and provided an extremely comfortable and open space to relax in, and great outdoor area. It definitely had the 'wow factor' for us and we couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. Really nicely furnished and a very well equipped kitchen, along with three immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a separate TV room was a bonus and made made the main area much more sociable. Charlie and Ali were friendly and helpful during our stay. We all had a great time, and so did Wilf (the dog), and can absolutely recommend staying here. We would love to visit again at some point in the future. Thanks very much for a happy and memorable stay.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had- and we had many!!!!

Cedar House is simply stunning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings, very comfortable and spacious property with everything you need. The pool and spa are a delight and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Kelly as a host is great as well, good at responding and clear with information, nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a brilliant place, would definitely recommend.

What a truly beautiful stay. The cottage was so clean , bright, everything you needed, plenty of places to go and things to do leaflets. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped . You are surrounded in nature and wildlife , its so peaceful and the Red Kite feeding was absolutely out of this world The garden and woodland is fantastic , there is so much to see as you walk around . There is a beautiful terrace to sit and look at the views and watch the birds . Outstanding. Marley and his Grandad Fred are wonderful and so very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be going back and would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so amazing .

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

thankyou to our host Sibylle for being so attentive friendly always on hand to advise and assist ,gave us loads of information on walks surroundings , wood burner Hot tub ready when we requested ,stunning setting and access to forest at the bottom of the driveway ,so peaceful and you just didn't want to leave ,everything you thought you'd forgot to bring was available all in a wonderful relaxing stay thankyou

My family loved our stay - the location in the woods and its proximity to accessible hiking paths was amazing. Our 7 yr old loved all the games and books, and we loved the sauna and pool and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Very nice shower and comfortable beds - thank you, Lucy!

Very welcoming host, met us right on time and gave us a tour of the cottage! Also a lovely touch that Hillary left a few farm eggs for us so we had them for breakfast! Good location, all amenities were as described, a few shops near by (5-10 mins drive) so we had a good holiday just switching off for a few days! A few recommendations for pubs as well - we picked the Foxham which we really liked! The only improvement I’d say would be that it would be good to have an option of a blind/curtain for the front door/window.

We had a fantastic stay! The view is incredible and the place was fabulous! The bbq and pizza oven were the highlight of the weekend! James was super responsive and helped with any questions we had. A great host! Blue the dog was a great companion! Would stay again :) Thanks James!

A lovely short stay in this forest hideaway with a simply outstanding view. Didn’t realise in advance that it was on two levels with all the facilities of home in terms of kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs - en suite bedroom with balcony - is warm and sunny. Downstairs - living + dining room and kitchen - stays cool. If you like your birds, you will particularly enjoy watching the plethora of species that come from the forest to the feeder - courtesy of the hosts who provide a generous tin of bird seed.

Amazing find, peaceful, immaculately clean and beautifully presented. Parking for 3 cars and all facilities needed. Beautiful woodland walks nearby and of course Highclere. Loved it, will book again.

What a gem of a find. The location is simply stunning, we will definitely be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay here in June 2025 at this wonderful hidden gem in the Oxfordshire countryside. The hot tub is just great to relax in with a glass of something cold and fizzy. The bed is comfy and cosy. The goodie box with fresh bread was a winner! Shower fitted with a rain head We would come back and stay here again. 11/10*

Mia is very nice and responsive. Clear instructions will be sent just before your stay. The boat looks exactly like the pictures and it’s so picturesque with all the plants! I was a bit apprehensive about the chemicals toilet as I missed this detail when I booked and never used before, but it was ok, just read carefully the instructions. For our experience, it was 25C outside when we arrived and it did feel like a terrarium inside!! So I would say, maybe be ready to feel very hot if you booked when it’s over 23C, as there is no fan/AC as far as I know. I noticed lots of modern radiators so must be better when it’s a bit fresher outside actually. Our 2nd day was cooler and it was perfect and cosy inside the boat! Would definitely stay again, I’m thinking it would be so dreamy on a sunny autumn day or on a rainy day! Nice restaurants literally in front on the airbnb, we had brunch at The Breakfast Club and food was lovely.

Marc was great, I booked the cabin for two days to propose to my now fiance. It was great, peaceful and a special couple of days. Marc’s attention to detail on the cabin was also amazing. Very rare you stay in a ‘cabin’ and it actually feels like a true wood lodge cabin. We also forgot our swimming costumes, and Marc has posted them to us no problem. Great place, great host and if you’re looking for a relaxed few days I highly recommend.

Jacqueline’s place was everything it said on the tin and more .From the additional toiletries in the bathroom to the little torch in the itinerary box . I couldn’t reccomend it highly enough and the bed was to die for felt like sleeping on clouds . Yes I could hear the family next door ( but not offensively , charming and polite , just going about their daily business and respectful of my work patterns ) as a single I found that comforting and made me feel safe and not alone . The neighbourhood and surrounding village was charming and very well appointed I wish I had got to explore it more . I would stay again in a heart beat if I ever get the chance but I suspect after telling all my work colleagues it’ll be booked up in no time . Thank you for making me so welcome Jacqueline.
