This was our second stay here. Our daughter's family lives in the neighborhood and this is the perfect location for us to stay while visiting. It is quiet, comfortable and just what we need. The yard is very cute and we love to look at the animals with our grandchildren. We lucked out and saw the planets aligned from the driveway on the 25th, as it is dark enough to view the stars without city lights. Don and Lori are great hosts- there are treats and fresh eggs in the fridge, and everything we needed was right there. We will be back.

Mara is a great host, charming and thorough.........a great combination for us! Her detailed instructions and "hands-off" thereafter approach was perfect for us. The unit was just the right size for us and had everything we needed for our week plus stay. We hope to visit and stay again in the future as the location is perfect for us.

A magical sanctuary! We loved every minute of our stay and the only negative part was that we had to leave. The location is epic- walk anywhere, restaurants, beach, UCSC, downtown, coffee shops. The hot tub is totally private and the place has a very homey feel. The lot is beautiful. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Monterey Bay Cottage! Pictures show the property well. Updated property in an established neighborhood. Quick access to the beach and Monterey aquarium. Kids enjoyed the board games. The host proactively communicated and we didn’t have a list of chores to do before we left. Only issue was the blinds to the main front window didn’t fully cover the window so people walking by could see in and if we were there or not.

Stayed for the first time in Pescadero with the family. Steve's place was perfect - great location, well equipped, lots of space. Loved the views and accessibility to it all. Thanks, Steve, for sharing your wonderful place with us.

A lovely space for our family of four. The host, Gabriel, was very helpful and provided lots of great suggestions for things to do in the area. And he notified us that we could have a later check out time which was perfect for our short weekend stay, making it feel even longer. The beach is very accessible and beautiful and the neighbors were friendly - even helped us jump our car. A lovely space to visit. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time at the ranch—the location was beautiful, and the unit was spacious. There was hot water and strong WiFi. Dogs on the property were friendly and adorable. However, the cleanliness of the unit could use some improvement. It would benefit from a professional deep cleaning to really match the quality of the overall experience. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and would consider returning.

This was a great place! Close to everything but still very quiet, clean and lovely on the inside with a beautiful courtyard on the outside and safe parking. Everything was just as described, and I would definitely stay again!

Great central location with lots of places to walk to. I grew up in Castro Valley but haven’t been back in many years. We stayed with our twin 5 year olds and there is a play place that is nearby. Katherine was very communicative and flexible with check in. There was a housekeeping issue and Katherine addressed this issue immediately. We couldn’t get the shower head in the master bath to work correctly but the guest bath shower worked just fine with good pressure. We were disappointed it rained while we were there because we didn’t get to use the backyard. It looked very inviting with the BBQ and fire pit. The dining table was great as we had my senior parents over for dinner and everyone fit comfortably. The home is beautifully decorated

We had an awesome stay! The cabin is beautiful, with a perfect backyard for our pup to play while we enjoyed sitting around a fire. It’s the perfect little place to relax. Also, the host was very accommodating with our requests, which made our cross country road trip easy. Would recommend for sure!

Great find! This home has so much to offer and perfect for families…we didn’t even turn on the TV. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Games, blocks, exercise mats, books, fire pit, etc. Located between Felton & Boulder Creek, plenty of good food and grocery near by. Quiet and private, but still close to everything. Tamara was very responsive and accommodating. We hope to stay again.

Love Pacifica, with all the shops and restaurants. Beautiful location with tons of activities to do with the family. Kayak, bicycle rentals, sailing or just swimming all walking distance to Lovers Point. Public Library and markets for groceries are near by too! Such a lovely peaceful home, this is my family’s second time we rented. Definitely will return. :)

loved this listing. It is two dewllings a 2/2 and a 1/1 adjacent to each other. The scenery is beautiful and close enough to town that gorceries or going out to eat is 5 min away. it was perfect for us visiting family in the area and this is going to be our go to accomodation for future stays.

my husband and i stayed for 2 months for our sunny winter retreat and it was PERFECT! everything is well stocked from kitchen appliances, linens, toilet paper to batteries. so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. the deck is DIVINE and sun streams in the house morning through sunset. the beach is an easy walk away and very few people during the week. i requested cotton bedding and green, fragrance-free cleaning and Lori generously accommodated our needs. thank you, thank you, thank you!

Daniela is the ‘perfect host’. Her unit is PRISTINE! Her kitchen is fully equipped, extremely safe neighborhood, comfortable bed, and is located walking distance to the most beautiful ocean in the world! (I’m very partial to our beautiful California coast.) I can honestly give Daniela’s cottage a perfect 10/10! I CAN’T WAIT TO RETURN!

We had a great stay at James’ home. The home was very clean, and stocked really well with plenty of towels, pillows, and bedding. The best touch—and something you don’t see often—was the bowl of delicious fresh fruits and the fridge stocked with cold water and juice. My toddler loved the backyard too—lots of room for her to run around and play. The place is also conveniently located a quick drive to the aquarium and a short walk or drive to a nice little beach. James was very responsive throughout.

Great little place close to the beach and walkable to some cool restaurants. Peaceful street and cool vibes.
