Phenomenal location with beautiful views. Accommodations were great and communication with host was easy. I locked us out of the apartment and host was there very quickly to let us in. We rented a car and the parking is quite expensive and confusing, which our host notified us about. I would definitely recommend Daniela’s place and would come back again. It’s a very local feel, but close enough to be in the “thick of things”.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in Matera, it’s so cozy and in the perfect location. The view from the terrace is so amazing! Giuseppe is a wonderful host, very responsive and he let us check in early, which was great because my small kids were tired. Thanks so much for everything!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

Wow! This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. Antonella was an amazing host and the Airbnb itself is beautiful as well as the absolutely stunning views from the balcony/terrace. Everything we wanted to do was a short walking distance away and there was plenty of amenities in the Airbnb which enhanced the stay, including the moka pot which we used to make coffee to go with the cake that Antonella had kindly left us. We visited Matera for our anniversary and had an unforgettable time in this Airbnb right in the heart of the Sassi. Grazie Antonella!

Relaxing vacation in the middle of greenery and nature. Large apartment, equipped and clean. Priceless to eat in the large garden under the oak tree. Starting point to visit nearby cities, beautiful sea and white beach. Very helpful host. recommended structure

We loved Habitat. Being on the outer edge of the Sassi it was easy to find and easy to return to throughout the day. Compliments to Emanuele - he has created an intimate space with all the modern comforts within an ancient stone structure. Appreciated the water that was in the fridge upon arrival ! Excellent internet too. A memorable stay in Matera.

Prospero is extremely kind and accommodating, full of good advice. The apartment was very clean and particularly well-equipped. We were able to easily park on the street and the historic center is within walking distance.

Luciano is awesome, the apartment is awesome, and Matera is awesome. We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute! The view of the Sassi from the small balcony is something we spent hours enjoying and will never forget. It was fun to stay in a cave and yet enjoy modern amenities. Luciano left us great reading material about Matera and made excellent recommendations for food and sight seeing. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are lucky enough to come to Italy again. Wonderful place in a perfect location and incredible view. It feels like a home away from home with all the little details thought through. Great location outside the pedestrian limited streets for easy luggage drop off, but a very close 5 min walk to get into the heart of Matera. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location to explore Sassi, easy parking, walkable, fabulous restaurants recommendations, and every thing was so perfect with welcome fruit, breakfast, coffee, and more. The place is so new and well cared for that 5 star rating is just not enough. Really great experience.

He shared so many local recommendations and went above and beyond in every aspect of ensuring we had a comfortable and wonderful stay. A host that truly wants his guests to feel at home. The property was clean and very-well located just outside the Sassi. You will be happy if you choose to stay at Cosimo's place!

Beautiful place that is very close to the city center and all of the sights of Matera. You can walk everywhere from the apartment. We especially appreciated private parking, where we could keep our car safe. The host was proactive, helped us park on arrival, and very responsive. Excellent experience, would absolutely stay again.

Amazing place in the heart of Sassi di Matera. The airbnb is hardly 1 minute walking from Piazzetta Pascoli, one of the main squares in Matera. It is the perfect base for exploring the old city— close to all the tourist attractions, and yet fairly quiet and private. The view from the balcony is unmatched. The airbnb itself was very spacious, clean and well equipped with all the key amenities.

I stayed for a few days at Anna's place with my dog. It was wonderful! Right in the middle of nature in a small village, there are plenty of trails to hike around this area. Anna and her family were incredibly friendly. Anna even took the time to show me around the village and its church! The apartment is very cozy, with a beautiful wood stove. I highly recommend!

Nicola and Eleonora were very friendly and responded quickly to help us find a parking space and were quite kind from the time we arrived until we left. The place is a few minutes' walk from the historic center of Bari, where you can find several restaurants and bars. It was quite clean and tidy.

Perfectly located in the center of Bari at a 10 min walk from the old center. Very spacious. Would definitely eat at the restaurant that Angelo recommendates.

We absolutely loved this place. Clean and beautifully renovated. The balcony overlooks a stunning piazza. It’s a walk to the old town but situated in a great area with lots of yummy affordable restaurants!

Everything was fine. We communicated well with Luigi, and he was helpful with all the information. 🤗 Just keep in mind to bring earplugs — the neighbor upstairs is a bit noisy. 🫣
