Exquisitely Restored 18th Century Tower House

Welcome to Fameliti Casa Torre! Enjoy your stay in our fully restored family tower house built back in 1790 which can comfortably host up to 10 guests. Tower houses are the emblems of Mani. Stone strongholds that thrust from the rocky land as if to strike the sky itself. Their height was directly related to their defensive ability, but also to the rank and social position of the family to which they belonged. Their construction drew inspiration from Byzantine fortification architecture.

Historic Stone Tower • Heart of Hvar Old Town

Stay in an exclusive and beautifully restored 18th-century stone tower built in 1761, located in the heart of Hvar’s historic Old Town. Once part of the Franciscan heritage of the island, the tower offers a unique and private stay where history meets Mediterranean charm. The Old Tower is situated in Hvar’s historic center in a peaceful area, just a few minutes’ walk from the main town square. It has been carefully refurbished using traditional materials combined with modern comfort.

The Traditional Tower is located in Flomochori village,13 km from Areopoli and just 5 min. by car from the beach.The 1st bedroom has 3 single beds, tv, a/c. The living room has traditional wooden ceiling, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, sofa bed, tv, home cinema, traditional fireplace and w/c. Just 1.5 km from the center, Torre Gigliano was built in the 12th century at the foot of the Murge plateau, surrounded by an expanse of olive trees in the countryside of Ruvo di Puglia, a town rich in history. Used as a watchtower and astronomical observatory, the residence is enriched by a one-of-a-kind and extraordinarily beautiful stone spiral staircase. The fruits of a small organic vegetable garden and orchard are available to guests depending on the current season.

Anemomilos

It is a real old windmill that worked to grind wheat and produce flour. This operation stopped with the appearance of the machines a few years later when it was used as a residence. It consists of 3 floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen and the bathroom, the children's bedroom upstairs and on the third floor there is the main bedroom with a 360th view of the endless blue but also in the mountainous part of the island. Outside there is a pool,kitchen ,shower.

The Tower of Conca

The Torre di Conca is a charming apartment converted from an old watchtower whose construction dates back to the mid-1500s. It is the only tower on the coast that retains the elegant crown of battlements at its top. The unique environment with the very high barrel ceiling, and a high arched window. The ancient loopholes are now small windows or niches. The view is truly breathtaking with sea and coastal views. The tower is the ideal place for a honeymoon.
