Located only 25 km from Tirana, it creates the perfect get away for experiencing each season to the fullest. The area offers hiking trails, breathtaking mountain and valley views, several family run restaurants cooking delicious local dishes at very convenient prices.

Salty Village

Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful small stone house with fire place at the edge of the forest in the small village of Oxia, just 10 minutes walk from small Prespa lake. The house dates back to 1920 and has been fully renovated in 2014 with custom made design executed by local materials and artisans. The surroundings are quite rural with sheeps and horses at close distance. The lakes, a pristine bird sanctuary is one of the most beautiful and preserved landscapes in Europe.

It is a secluded location from towns and villages, but not a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
