Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Balkans

This should be the first choice for those who want a quiet, calm and peaceful getaway. Amazing house, what more could the perfect location be… I think the disappointment of those who expect hotel facilities is meaningless, what is presented clearly enough… The host is very caring and open to communication, we have never had any problems, but it is solution-oriented... Some of the details of the house require maintenance (as the shower head should change), yes, this is a fact, but they do not stand out next to the view… Since we went in March, we did not have a fly problem, but we had a hard time heating the bathroom, so we need to find a solution... In summary, it was a terrific experience, the worst part was that it left! Note: the cats are the real host:)

Our stay with Stefania was amazing. The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable. Situated a mile from the old town of Lecce, easily walkable. Stefania was so friendly and helpful, she sorted out a parking fine that we had. Just to note, yellow lines on the road mean no parking unless you are a resident. Visitors use the blue parking spaces. I would recommend Stefania’s accommodation to everyone and would certainly stay again.

The most incredible home we have ever stayed at, it felt like a dream. Mario, was a fantastic host, the house was beautifully decorated, the view was stunning, the location was 10/10. We will never forget our stay at Casa lleana, and hope to come back again!

Anna’s place is truly special. A great location to see everything on your list in Puglia. You will be blown away at how photos don’t do the property and rooms justice.

The home was spotless, exactly as described, and the view of the Adriatic is simply breathtaking. The kitchen is fully equipped if you feel like cooking, but there are also plenty of restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, and a pharmacy just a short walk away. While the price is on the higher side, it’s well worth it for such a stunning and peaceful location. Highly recommended!

Heaven on Earth! The accommodation is so beautiful and unique. The house is located on a mountain surrounded by nature and tranquility. It is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed every second there. The view is simply breathtaking. Alfredo is a wonderful host. Thank you for this amazing stay!

Raffaella’s place was amazing and would definitely stay again! The view was absolutely stunning and the room was very nice and clean, just what we needed. The location to meet for check in was a little confusing at first but we found her quickly. Rafaella’s brother was able to carry our luggage up and down when we came and left which was a huge help since there were so many stairs. Additionally and most importantly, my boyfriend proposed here on this beautiful balcony and I cannot thank Rafaella enough for everything she did to set up and prepare it for him. It was perfect !!

The unit was perfect for my partner and I to visit and travel around Dubrovnik for a few days. It was peaceful and beautifully relaxed at night. This was a great choice for us as we were out and about a lot and didn't need to stay back for long. We were able to sleep in as needed with the window shades but also could open them up for the beautiful view of the water. We did not walk around the area, simply because that wasn't a part of our plan, but accessing the walkway by the water was possible with other restaurant and bar options. Ubers were easy to use and cost between 10-20 euros to get to the old city. Would definitely stay here in the future if needed.

We cannot say enough positive things about the host Luksa and the apartment. He was fantastic from the initial contact to when we checked out. Warm, welcoming, and always available. He arranged a lovely driver, Srjdan, to pick us up at the airport; we called upon him several times to drive us. The apartment was spotless, tastefully furnished, well stocked, and in the perfect location - just above Old Town to be out of the crowd, but close enough to walk. The apartment size is very European and was perfect for the 2 of us, meaning if you are looking for a huge modern hotel space, stay in Texas. The views from the balcony were magical, and because of that, we spent more time there than anticipated. We fell in love with Dubrovnik and will certainly always stay with Luksa in the future.

I will just reiterate what everyone else has said. This is THE BEST view of Stari Most in the city! The view is incredible. The place is amazing. Super close to everything! Including a craft beer place that has legit IPA’s!! Mostar did not disappoint! Great food. Great sites. Friendly people! If you want to visit Mostar this is THE place!

Lemon Garden..great location,very good communication with the owner,clean,jacuzzi also super but most of all the mother and father who live upstairs,these people are so warm and welcoming.Never experienced this before!They brought us breakfast as surprise,some local drinks and even washed our car...she insisted,unbelievable.If you go to Gjirokaster this is the place to be.Thanks again!

Daniela was a warm and gracious and extremely welcoming host (and human being:-)). She created a lovely atmosphere in the apartment…delicious homemade coffee cake and fresh flowers from her gorgeous garden completed the wonderful welcome. The views from the balcony are spectacular and have comfortable seating to take it all in. The apartment is perfectly equipped with both essentials and extras and was in an ideal location for walking to the nearby old town/city (lots of steps but taxis are available nearby if the climb isn’t an option). You’ll love it!

This was our first time in Dubrovnik, so I wasn't sure about the location. As it turned out, the location was amazing. It was a short walk (all downstairs) to the city walls and Old Town. We got an Uber back because not everyone wanted to walk up the stairs. Frankly, any place we stayed would be uphill/upstairs, but Katarina's was super close. The apartment itself has a beautiful, private balcony. I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the beds were. Everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here.

You really can’t beat the view of this place. Dorotea met us at check in and gave us a thorough tour as well as many local recommendations that were super helpful. I’d highly recommend this stay to anyone looking a beautiful location with a stunning view that is quiet and relaxing. The only downside, if you can even call it that, is that the apartment is halfway up a very windy road. Not great for those who might not like walking up and down to get to town and the beach. We got used to it though!

I can’t recommend Evangelos’ place enough! This was the perfect place for my husband and I on our short 3-day stay in Athens. The location was great, very walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Acropolis was uphill so we would get a quick/cheap taxi there, and walk back to the Airbnb (~15 min walk). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, there were always people around. The hot tub was such a great place to relax after long days of walking, and the view of the Parthenon was just lovely - especially at night. Finally, Evangelos was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. He also connected us with a great driver Petros, who picked us up from our cruise port and brought us to the airport. We had a fantastic stay in Athens and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly thanks to Evangelos!

A lovely modern condo in the heart of Heraklion. Located next to a mini market and delicious bakery, this spot is in a great location. We especially loved the rooftop space!

We had a couple of nights to spend in Athens before heading out to the islands. This was just the most perfect spot with an amazing view. Easy to find, and the instructions were really easy to follow. Watching to the sun set from the roof top terrace was just incredible. I can’t recommend enough!!

Domenico is a fantastic host, he proactively shared all the information we needed and helpful information restaurants divided by type of food and price range, we had a total of 5 reservations for our stay in Italy and only Domenico had such a proactive and kind approach. The apartment is one of the best I've been to in Italy, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The attention to the smallest details is admirable. Tip: if you like flowers, this place feels like a magical garden. We will definitely come back for longer stay. Grazie mille, Domenico!

I had a great time at this property. Located in the 6th floor you have a great city view, Acropolis being visible from the terrace. The jacuzzi is an amazing experience at night. The place both smelled and looked clean, and in my experience the host did the little extra to account for a great experience - which it really was. Good instructions, easy check-in and access by app. Overall a really good stay at this property.

This location is unique and we got to spend a few days as if it was ours. If you are ready to climb quite a few a few steps to the street, get your cardio on, you'll feel better about the pizza you just ate... Giuseppe was always quick to respond to any questions we had, offered good local recommendations, and helped with booking a taxi one morning.

This was the best Airbnb rental we have experienced. The host thought of everything and made our stay feel even better than a hotel! The location is unparalleled, the little details of snacks and water and wine in the fridge. What an extremely hospitable host and property! Easy to check in, check out was also a breeze. Can’t recommend enough.

Perfect location for enjoying the restaurants, bars, and sights of Napoli. Also highly recommend if you're thinking about day trips to Ischia, Procida, and Capri...the ferry port/marina is only 10 minute walk from the apartment. And while the location is the 'middle of it all', the architecture of the building keeps it quiet at night...you'll barely notice you're in the center of Napoli. Also, the view from the balcony is incredible and such a wonderful way to either enjoy sunrise, or the evening light at sunset hitting Vesuvius.
