Our Hide Away is located in the tropical garden of Travel in' restaurant on the Caribbean coast. Ideal if you enjoy being in the middle of nature, on the edge of the mangrove. A good place for seasoned nature lovers familiar with it's environment. Not recommended for children under age 10. Travel in' lies, off the beaten track, 6 kms south of the village of Mahahual, Costa Maya. The beach road is made of limestone and has potholes.

Casa Caribe is located in downtown Bacalar, two blocks from the Lagoon, historic sites such as El Fuerte de San Felipe (Castle), the Church and the main park, as well as multiple restaurants. It's one of three lodgings on the property. The land is family-owned without any boundaries or divisions, in the style of an annex or guest house. But the entrance to the parking lot and the apartment are independent.

We use the house on special days for ourselves, the rest of the time we share it, through Airbnb, with the rest of the world.
