This was a last-minute trip, and Corinne was incredibly responsive to all our questions, which made everything smooth and easy. The place was exactly as described on the site—clean, comfortable, and a great value. Leann's home is located 10 minutes from downtown Boone which was perfect for our weekend trip. When you arrive to the home you are greeted by their friendly golden doodle which surprised me at first but he was a sweetheart. We had the chance to meet Leann and she was very welcoming and always responsive. I love the decor of the Airbnb and was making note of some of the design touches for my own home. We would 100% stay here again!

Enjoyed the stay very much. Beautiful and tranquil place in the mountains. It was a little warm & humid inside the space at times, but we were notified in advance that there was no AC and im sure this wouldn't be an issue during the cooler months of the year. Was able to place the box fan near the window and cool things off considerably in the first room. Also, there are some steep inclines and sharp turns to get up to the parking spot. I didn't have a problem with this myself but it may be worth noting for more inexperienced drivers or people that may not be comfortable driving on such terrain. Would gladly stay there again.

J & K’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city! We had a ball visiting trails, eating great food & even made it to Tweetsie Road (born & raised here in NC but my first time going)! The apartment was the perfect size, quiet, felt very snug & cozy & the sheets, mattress & pillows made us just wanna lay in bed! May roast some marshmallows in the fire pit next time. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and accommodating! We would definitely come back here the next time we’re in Boone!! Thank you sooooo much John & Kellia!!

Jade was an amazing host! Every time I messaged her, she responded quickly. She answered any and all questions and gave great suggestions! Her home is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. She even provided items that she didn’t have to in order to make our stay more welcoming. The hot tub right by the creek was what sealed the deal for us! This location is about an hour or so from anything to do which gave us a sense of relaxation that we haven’t had before. Thanks, Jade!

Such a charming quiet little Airbnb. The host was SO responsive to our requests. Sunsets over the mountains is an extra special treat. Easy to get to, easy parking, and extremely relaxing! Highest recommendation in the Boone/Blowing Rock, NC area! 🥰🥰

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Wonderful view and the swing on the deck was heavenly. Inside was extremely clean, well furnished and bed was comfortable. I didn’t realize (I probably didn’t read description well enough) that the hot tub was down another flight of stairs. It would be great if robes could be supplied, as it was very chilly going and especially coming back from hot tub. That being said, the hot tub was huge and so relaxing. If you can handle the stairs, this place is great for a couples getaway!

We loved the little guest house! It was immaculate and had everything we needed. Tiffany was so friendly and helpful. We even met her mom who was so sweet! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in this area!

Immaculate and one of the most beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces I’ve ever seen. Impeccably clean with wonderful decor all around. Each bedroom had its own split for complete control and comfort. Beds were extremely comfy! The path to the lake was an easy walk and there was so many water toys for all of us to enjoy. Although we weren’t aware when booking that this was a guest suite and not a whole house until shortly before our stay, the host respected our privacy and it wasn’t an issue. The price was a little more than I would have paid if I had known it wasn’t the whole house but I can honestly say it was a wonderful stay and our family thorough enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home on Lake James!

The space was not super clean, but not dirty enough to be impactful. The Airbnb was cute and the beds were cozy.

The unit was as described/pictured. It is about a 25 min walk to the center of town. There’s a sidewalk. As described, there aren’t cooking facilities beyond the microwave . I liked that all the switches are labeled. We would stay there again.

Margaret was a splendid host! Her space was very inviting and cozy. She has really put a lot of thought into it and I could tell how much she cares. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Barbara is an excellent host. The property is exactly as pictured and described. The views of the surrounding area are outstanding. Barbara has the unit well stocked with everything you would need for a long stay. It has a warm, cozy feel to it. Every day has a wonderful feel to it at Barbara's Place. Thank you for having us!

Haus Edelweiss airbnb was cozy and comfortable. All areas were clean and inviting: a comfortable bed with multiple pillow and cover choices; a clean bathroom with a shower and a washer/dryer set; a suitable kitchenette with snacks and bottled waters in the refrigerator. Hosts Mike and Judith provided a lot of information regarding local sites and restaurants. They went above and beyond when the power went out (due to a storm), texting us and providing drop chords that were connected to their generator. It was a wonderful stay with warm and friendly hosts who met our needs while respecting our privacy.

Stacy’s place is a great mountain getaway! The location is incredibly peaceful and we loved sitting in the jacuzzi while watching the river flow. Stacy was really proactive in helping us get situated - from providing house instructions to recommending local restaurants and things to do, she was on top of it! There are also other great amenities to add to your time in the mountains. If you’re looking for a relaxing mountain getaway, I’d definitely recommend this home! Stacy went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests.

Carol and David have built a beautiful world and we are so fortunate that they share it with us. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable in their roomy and thoughtfully stocked apartment. It far surpasses the photos and there are so many careful touches (especially catering to dog people!). Our stay was too short and busy, and we didn't have nearly enough time to really enjoy the surroundings and the forest view of the balcony. Carol, David, and their adorable pups were wonderful hosts. I'm sure their place is equally enjoyable in fall, winter, and spring, and can't wait to return for subsequent visits.

They were the BEST hosts I’ve interacted with… and I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb/VRBO homes. She went above and beyond to get me something for my birthday and made us brownies while we were there. She gave us local recommendations on restaurants and running/hiking trails. Super great at responding and was very kind. Also, the place was clean and there were soooo many amenities including a wii, coffee pot, fireplace, hot tub, etc. We will definitely be back!!

Karyn and Steve’s place is charming and cozy! Everything was super clean, the kitchenette was well stocked, and the living room was adorable! The road getting there was very bumpy but that obviously wasn’t their fault, just something to note. Would definitely recommend staying here!
