Mountain getaway with fantastic views! If traveling in the winter, 4 wheel drive is required if there is potential for snow/ice. Access to the cabin is up a steep road (paved and maintained). The cabin is 15 min from Grandfather mountain hiking trails, 20 min to Sugar mountain skiing, 30 min to Banner Elk and 30 min to Beech Mountain. This 2 bed/2bath cabin includes a loft area for remote work (really good wifi), extra sleeping space, etc. Fully stocked kitchen and high end bed linens!!

Original hardwood floors, doors, knobs, wainscoting and bathtub. Amazing location on Main Street, walk to town via the Greenway Trail right across the street. Quiet back deck with huge backyard and stream access. Comfortable beds and updated baths. Cozy living room with gas log fireplace. Updated kitchen with all new appliances.

If you enjoy the quiet, peaceful serenity of the mountains this is the house for you. Please note there is a 1/4 mile steep decent on an unpaved road to our house and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended.

Banner Elk Cozy Cottage Close to Downtown

Let our cozy cottage be your home-base for all your mountain adventures. For mtn biking, you will be minutes away from the trails at Lees-McRae College as well as the bike parks at Sugar and Beech Mountains during the summer. In the winter, you'll have several skiing and snow tubing options within a few miles as we are within 10-15 minutes to Beech or Sugar. Wildcat lake is at the bottom of our street. Bring your fishing gear or kayaks/stand-up boards!

This cozy home is situated up high with a gorgeous view of the mountains and quick access to major grocery stores, gas stations, post offices, restaurants, bars, and fun activities for all seasons. It includes 3 Bedrooms (2 on the first floor, 1 in the basement) with 3 Bathrooms that allow the hosting of up to 6 guests at a time! Enjoy a beautiful rustique interior with comfy couches and beds.
