Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with a lot of artistry. This house was built by our aunt who was a teacher, feminist, travelled and art lover. It’s the perfect location to explore the mountains, enjoy specialities from Appenzell or sightseeing. We value guests who appreciate our property and keep it tidy. Please be mindful that the house has a conservatory, which is made of glass, so if you’re a very private person, this might not be the right property for you.

Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.
